MOUNT BALDY, CA, September 08, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robin Reed Riggle, B.F.A., M.Ed., has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Reed Riggle has established a multifaceted career distinguished by her dedication to education, the arts and personal growth. Since 2021, she has been an author, drawing on her extensive experience in the classroom to write "Conquer the Classroom: How to Manage Your Students, Your Administration, and Yourself," a work recognized with an International Impact Book Award in 2025. Ms. Reed Riggle's book was also featured at the American Library Association 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Philadelphia, receiving multiple excellent reviews. The book was inspired by a challenging period during which she was placed on administrative leave for nearly a year while resolving a significant issue with her school district. Ultimately prevailing in her case, she transformed this experience into an opportunity to mentor and encourage fellow educators, emphasizing the importance of setting boundaries, nurturing oneself and fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.

From 2007 to present, Ms. Reed Riggle has worked as both a high school and a middle school art teacher at a public school, where she became known for integrating environmental themes into her curriculum. Each year, she has led her students in Earth Day art projects and instilled in them the importance of environmental stewardship as the world's future leaders. Her commitment to student development extended beyond the classroom; after nominating a student engaged in a community project folding origami cranes to support relief efforts in Japan, she witnessed his recognition on an ABC7 News segment. The student received a $1,000 scholarship and later invited Ms. Reed Riggle as his guest to a special banquet at the Los Angeles news studio, a moment she regards as one of her most rewarding professional achievements.

Concurrent with her middle school tenure, Ms. Reed Riggle taught high school art from 2007 to 2017. During this period, she fostered creativity and critical thinking among adolescents while supporting extracurricular activities and field trips that broadened students' cultural horizons. She also served as a substitute teacher for six years at her daughter's school in Mount Baldy, California, and in the Upland Unified School District, allowing her to balance professional responsibilities with motherhood. Before entering the field of education, she applied her artistic talents as a seamstress sewing sails for sailboats at a Long Beach sail loft, at Caribou Mountaineering in a factory setting in Chico, California and as a seamstress and member of the on set crew in the costume department on a couple of projects in the film industry in Los Angeles.

Academically, Ms. Reed Riggle's background includes a Master of Education with special emphasis on the importance of an arts education from the University of La Verne. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration from California State University, Fullerton, earned in 2000. Additionally, she completed coursework and earned an A.A. degree in fashion design at Brooks College, where she was granted a full-tuition scholarship. She also holds a single-subject in art teaching credential from the University of La Verne.

Committed to civic engagement, Ms. Reed Riggle has volunteered as a chaperone for high school field trips to destinations like Washington, D.C., New York City, Hongseong in South Korea and more recently in the spring of 2025 to the Mediterranean Coast, as well as taking students to many local art museums. Although raised in the United Church of Christ, she considers herself more of a spiritual person, rather than religious. She contributes regularly as a donor to the Pacific Crest Trail Association and several universities.

Of all her accomplishments, Ms. Reed Riggle is most proud of raising her hardworking and adventurous daughter and considers balancing motherhood with pursuing advanced education and writing her book among her greatest achievements. In her personal life, she enjoys beekeeping, gardening, sewing and keeping a journal, which she has done since ninth grade.

Ms. Reed Riggle considers working with children to be both an honor and a privilege, offering the opportunity to guide them toward self-discovery, confidence and creative expression. Through her book, she encourages teachers to maintain healthy boundaries between work and personal life, prioritize self-care and cultivate positive relationships with students and colleagues. She emphasizes the importance of reconnecting with the passion that drew educators to the profession, finding joy in the work and seeking balance in life. By nurturing personal well-being and investing time in family, friends and personal interests, she believes educators can best serve their students.

In the upcoming years, Ms. Reed Riggle hopes to live closer to her daughter and travel both within the United States and abroad. Deeply committed to sustainability, she strives to be a good steward of the land through gardening and beekeeping while caring for her small community. Inspired by her father's ongoing work toward greater sustainability at Clean Energy Enterprises, she also aspires to take on more leadership roles within his company in the future.
