As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Marked by more than two decades of professional experience, Ms. Conrado de Souza is a renowned expert in international affairs, nonprofit leadership, global security and international development in conflict vulnerable contexts. As the founder and foreign affairs consultant at ACS Global, established in 2020, she has led the organization in helping international businesses and nonprofit entities with project oversight, strategic geopolitical analysis, forging international cooperation, excelling in leadership and fundraising initiatives to drive impactful social change. Her expertise extends to providing geopolitical analysis for conflict resolution, positioning her as a trusted advisor in global stability efforts.
In addition to her role at ACS Global, Ms. Conrado de Souza is the founder and program director of Access Education | Access Brazil, a venture she began in 2016. Through this initiative, she champions access to education — particularly science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) — and development for marginalized communities in Brazil. Her leadership with Access Education has been recognized by Women in Tech Dublin, underscoring the project's impact and her commitment to social innovation.
Ms. Conrado de Souza began her well-traveled journey as an executive assistant and foreign affairs liaison at The Karabakh Foundation from 2009 to 2011, during which she supported cultural diplomacy initiatives and various charitable, humanitarian and scholarly organizations. She also conducted vital research and published articles to raise awareness of historical, cultural and socio-political matters concerning areas of conflict in Azerbaijan.
In 2012, Ms. Conrado de Souza worked with the Organization of American States in the secretariat of administration and finance supporting budget management and project implementation in the country officers in Latin America. That same year, she gained valuable experience as a human rights intern at the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the United Nations in Geneva. Her early exposure to global conflict and security discussions during her internship at the United Nations paved the way for her subsequent position as an information management delegate with the International Committee of the Red Cross, where she engaged directly with crisis-affected regions in Africa — an experience that fueled her lasting commitment to humanitarian aid and global stability.
Ms. Conrado de Souza's career includes service as the defense air traffic control center program director for the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania from 2017 to 2018. In this role, she managed critical operations supporting national security infrastructure and honed her skills in international relations. Between 2016 and 2022, she worked remotely as the fundraising program manager at Instituto Adus – Refugee Reintegration Institute in Brazil, where she supported refugees' integration into Brazilian society through education and employment initiatives.
From 2022 to 2025, Ms. Conrado de Souza served as executive director of TiE DC, part of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Global, where she engaged in foreign relations efforts tied to business and cultural exchange between the U.S. and the Indian and Asian markets. Her tenure was marked by fostering cross-cultural partnerships and supporting entrepreneurship within the Washington, D.C. region's startups sector. Concurrently, from 2020 to 2025, she was the director of operations for the Harvard Business School Club of Washington, D.C. In this capacity, she contributed to high-profile events, including a notable conference featuring General David Petraeus — a collaboration she found deeply enriching given his stature as a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director and military leader.
Hailing from an equally impressive academic background, Ms. Conrado de Souza holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (IBMEC) in Brazil, earned in 2020. She also completed coursework in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building at American University in 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and economics from The George Washington University in 2009.
Along with her educational foundation, Ms. Conrado de Souza credits her success to the wealth of international experiences that have shaped her worldview and offered diverse perspectives. She emphasizes the importance of human connections — mentors, colleagues and field leaders — whose guidance has been fundamental to her personal and professional growth. She is especially grateful to her late father, Dr. Jose Albino Malta de Souza, who rose from humble beginnings in Brazil to earn a PhD degree in a medical science in the United States and opened many cultural doors for his daughter in the process.
Determined to continue her outstanding international relations, international security and peace building efforts, Ms. Conrado de Souza aspires to strengthen the impact of ACS Global by securing key clients and guiding governments as well as defense sector organizations through complex international challenges. Personally committed to empowering the marginalized youth in crime led and extremely vulnerable communities, she believes that even small transformations can lead to fulfilled purpose in building sustainable peace in the hemisphere — a vision already yielding promising outcomes through her ongoing programs. Her life and legacy stand as a testament to her unwavering dedication to peacebuilding, sustained international development and humanitarian progress on a global scale.
