FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, September 10, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samuel Landol Carrero has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Hailing from five decades of experience in business operations and investment strategy, Mr. Landol is the founder of and real estate investor at Galarce Properties, LLC, where he is responsible for purchasing homes and renting them out. Additionally, since 2013, he has operated as a self-employed real estate investor in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Worcester, Massachusetts, where he continues to expand his expertise in property management and operational proficiency.

Prior to his ventures in real estate, Mr. Landol was the Chief Operating Officer at Sealaska Corporation, a Native Alaska Corporation headquartered in Juneau, Alaska in support to several Alaska tribes in diversifying and broadening their investments from timber to manufacturing, construction, logistics and Federal Contracting. As an active member of the NMSDC, National Minority Supplier Development Council. In this capacity from 2006 to 2012 he most enjoyed mentoring up and coming managers grow to leadership ranks. Sam's commitment to Sealaska was such that he was adopted by the Tlingit tribe and given a Native name, Kaa Xooni, meaning "Man amongst us." During this time, he also served as a council member to Obama's Manufacturing Council.

From 1991 to 2007, Mr. Landol held the position of Corporate Vice President at Nypro, a medical device manufacturer. At Nypro, Mr. Landol served on the Corporate BOD alongside its outside board members. At Nypro, he initiated operations in Brazil, Mexico, and served as president of Nypro Puerto Rico. In Nypro Puerto Rico he was responsible sales and achieved remarkable growth by increasing operations from $12 million to $60 million in less than three years. It was during my assignment as President of NyproPuerto Rico, where I was elected to serve as President of the Puerto Rico Manufactures' Association (1995-1996). At this time, Nypro operated as an employee stock ownership company that ensured every employee in Clinton, Massachusetts, held stock in the business. He extended this opportunity to employees in Puerto Rico - a gesture that was deeply appreciated by the workforce and remains a point of gratitude among them. Mr. Landol was also given responsibility for Nypro Europe, which included Ireland, France, Wales and Hungary.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Landol worked at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1977 to 1991 in several key roles including Regional Sales Manager for Latin America. In this capacity Mr. Landol had Local Distributors in all Latin America countries, winning the Regional Sales Award the last year there. As President of Digital Equipment Corporation de Puerto Rico he was responsible for a workforce over 3000 employees with shipments of over $500M. Each of these positions equipping him with the expertise in international sales management and operational leadership across diverse markets that would also serve him in his later entrepreneurial ventures.

Mr. Landol's academic achievements have played a significant role in shaping his professional trajectory. He earned a Master of Business Administration in finance and operations from Harvard Business School in 1977 - an accomplishment he regards as the highlight of his career due to its profound impact on broadening his aspirations and strengthening his confidence. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute, completed in 1972. As the only member of his family to attend college, he attributes much of his success to the encouragement he received from his parents and his determination to exceed expectations set by his early experiences as the youngest sibling.

Determined to make an equal impact outside of his primary roles, Mr. Landol served as past president of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association from 1995 to 1996 and holds honorary membership with Sealaska Corp. He was also a member of President Barack Obama's Manufacturing Council and has participated on various property boards. In addition to his professional pursuits, he is committed to civic engagement and philanthropy as a supporter of the Puerto Rico Community Foundation as well as The American National Red Cross.

Happily married and a proud father of three adult children, Mr. Landol has maintained an active lifestyle through jogging four miles a day five times a week since 1975, and still amateur golfer and bowler. Looking toward the future, he is honored by opportunities to contribute further to Puerto Rico's development; he has been approached regarding potential service as a board member for the island's power authority to help address ongoing power shortages - a challenge he is eager to help resolve. Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, he continues to demonstrate dedication both professionally and personally through unwavering leadership, community service and commitment to excellence in everything he does.
