Before founding Arborist Art, Mr. Kaulbars was an arborist at Grow Tree Service from 2016 to 2019. In this capacity, he refined his technical skills and deepened his understanding of tree care, thereby solidifying his reputation as an expert in the field. Additionally, between 2001 and 2013, Mr. Kaulbars was the co-owner of Grow Tree Service in Naples, Florida. During this period, he worked alongside family members who shared a long-standing tradition in the tree service business. Mr. Kaulbars is a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture and holds certification as a pesticide applicator for lawn and ornamental care from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, both obtained in 2009.

Active within industry organizations, Mr. Kaulbars has served as a board member of the Southwest Florida Apartment Association since 2019. He is also affiliated with the International Society of Arboriculture, the Community Association Network and the Community Associations Institute. Previously, he served as a board member for CREW Land & Water Trust. Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Kaulbars is committed to supporting others through mentorship as part of one-on-one peer support initiatives.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kaulbars has demonstrated a high level of expertise in trees, earning recognition for his knowledge and dedication to the profession. In light of his success, he was recognized with several awards, including Best of Florida from The Guide to Florida for 2023 and 2024 and an ADDY Award from the American Advertising Awards, presented by the American Advertising Federation. However, Mr. Kaulbars considers the growth and success of Arborist Art to be his most notable achievement, as it fulfills his vision of building a company that stands out in the industry.

Mr. Kaulbars credits his success to never giving up, a quality that has propelled him through challenges and enabled him to realize his ambitions.
