It was here that she received recognition for her exceptional work, earning an award that included a company-paid vacation in 2005. Before joining Siemens, Mrs. Edwards-Moore honed her skills at EDS from 1984 to 1994 and 2000 to 2004, earning an award from the International Association of Business Communicators in 1985 during her first tenure with the company.

Mrs. Edwards-Moore's educational background laid the foundation for her success. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Louisiana State University in 1977, where she won awards for her writing. She worked as a sportswriter in Monroe (Louisiana) and for the Dallas Morning News as one of the first women sportswriters in the industry. Her journalism training equipped her with the ability to write quickly and effectively, skills that have been instrumental throughout her career. Capable of writing since the age of 4, Mrs. Edwards-Moore's lifelong creativity and flexibility have been key attributes contributing to her achievements.
