This work earned her a National Association of Black Journalists Award and an NAACP nomination.

Before pioneering mission-driven journalism on the network side, Mrs. Eyers demonstrated her ability to build content franchises that perform. At NBC Universal's lifestyle division, she increased viewership for syndicated programs Open House and Talk Stoop, while launching multiple successful spin-offs and overseeing high-profile sponsored content partnerships. At BuzzFeed, she conceptualized and executed the platform's first long-form talk show, Profile by BuzzFeed News, managing everything from creative development to budget oversight and team building. In addition, during her tenure at BuzzFeed, she was instrumental in launching several other shows and podcasts through external partnerships with Meta, Twitter (now X), and iHeart Media.

Her track record speaks to impact: four Emmy Awards, additional Emmy nominations, the successful launch of multiple shows across platforms, and managing partnerships with major foundations, including the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Walton Family Foundation. Ms. Eyers's academic accomplishments include a bachelor's degree in communications from Florida State University in 1997.
