FARMINGTON, WV, September 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frankie Witt has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A proud native of Farmington, West Virginia, Mr. Witt has led a distinguished career marked by dedication, adaptability and an unwavering commitment to service in all he does. His professional journey reflects a steady progression through diverse roles in manufacturing, health care and education, each contributing to his expertise and leadership.

In 2024, Mr. Witt began serving as a substitute teacher with the Marion County Board of Education. In this capacity, he teaches kindergarten through eighth grade students, focusing on physical education for younger children in the morning and health instruction for seventh and eighth graders in the afternoon. His ability to engage students across multiple grade levels while enhancing their knowledge and well-being demonstrates his versatility and passion for teaching.

Prior to starting his educational role, Mr. Witt was a supply chain supervisor at West Virginia University (WVU) Medicine Children's from 2022 to 2024. There, he managed critical logistics and supply chain operations for the hospital, ensuring that essential medical supplies were available to support primary care physicians and their patients. From 2021 to 2022, he worked as a manufacturing specialist at Nestlé Health Science, where he leveraged his extensive background in pharmaceutical manufacturing to contribute to the efficient production of vitamins and nutritional supplements.

Mr. Witt also held the position of area lead on the compressing team at Viatris following its merger with Mylan Pharmaceuticals, where he gained significant foundational experience over more than a decade. He began at Mylan as an inspector in 2008, ensuring tablet quality before ascending through key positions as a tablet press operator, blender operator and coating operator. Starting in 2013, he took on leadership roles as the area lead for inspection and coating for two years, area lead for encapsulation and compressing for five years and overall area lead in 2020.

During his time at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Witt played an integral role in producing up to 20 billion oral solid doses annually for global distribution. His ascent from entry-level operator to management was achieved while working full-time, raising two children and completing his education — a testament to his perseverance and strong work ethic.

Mr. Witt's academic achievements have been pivotal in shaping his diverse career trajectory. Dedicated to the ideals of continuous learning, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix in 2012 after completing coursework at Fairmont State University from 2001 to 2004. His approach to professional growth is rooted in dedication and self-worth — principles he attributes to his upbringing in a humble West Virginia town where his father worked as a coal miner for over four decades and his mother advanced her own career as a nurse after raising their family.

Inspired by his four children and motivated by a desire to align his schedule with theirs after years of shift work in pharmaceuticals, Mr. Witt transitioned into teaching. Also driven by a longtime passion for coaching and community service, he became the head golf coach at East Fairmont Middle School in 2025 after previously serving as a coach, bookkeeper and timekeeper for Fairview Basketball from 2019 to 2020. He was both a referee and coach with North Marion Little Huskies from 2017 to 2019 and spent seven years as volunteer chairman, coach and umpire with Farmington Farmers Little League — often leading multiple teams simultaneously across baseball, basketball and football.

Beyond his coaching endeavors, Mr. Witt is an active member of The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (also known as the Elks) — where he was honored with the ELK of the Year Award in 2025 — and Tau Kappa Epsilon at Fairmont State University. He is also involved with Noah's Ark Assembly of God in Fairview and regularly volunteers within his local community. In his personal life, he cherishes spending time with his children and enjoys golfing, fishing and assisting those who are unable to help themselves.

In the coming years, Mr. Witt intends to advance within the field of education by obtaining additional certifications required for full-time teaching positions. His goal is to secure a permanent role as both coach and teacher at one of the region's middle or high schools — focusing on health, physical education or history — where he can further impact young lives through mentorship and instruction. From humble beginnings to his storied pharmaceutical journey to his new role as an educator, he has demonstrated resilience and adaptability with a steadfast commitment to enhancing his community.
