In a concurrent position, Mr. Spallas was the chief executive officer at Capital Recovery Group LLC (CRG), a company co-launched with his business partner Adam Jones in 2007. Under their leadership through 2018, CRG specialized in asset recovery and management solutions, earning both Mr. Spallas and the organization a reputation for integrity and results-driven service. Along with his business partner, Adam C. Jones, Mr. Spallas has participated in several successful PE transactions to date involving: 1. A 2008 re-capitalization of his co-founded start-up company (CRG) through a Penske acquisition with its PE group, Transportation Resource Partners, also dragged along in 2016 when Cycle Express was acquired by major global auction company, Copart; 2. a 2018 exit from CRG via a private equity acquisition by Kinderhook Industries; 3. a start-up and subsequent exit from the fitness club space through PE Bandon Fitness, dba Anytime Fitness; 4. a start up as a founders of Wayfinder; and 5. a 2024 Partner re-organization. With Mr. Jones' steady hand, decisive action, loyalty, and sheer intelligence, Mr. Spallas acknowledges that their business ventures would neither have thrived nor survived but for Mr. Jones' contributions. He also attributes his loving wife Christine with his professional success offering Godly wisdom and advice as well as standing shoulder-to-shoulder through challenging times, and personally navigating and directing their fitness club ventures.

Exceptional academic accomplishments further define Mr. Spallas's profile. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona, after which he earned a Juris Doctor from Regent School of Law (VA) in 1995, where he was a member of its Law Review Editorial Board, and clerked for the American Center for Law and Justice, equipping him with a strong foundation in law that has informed his work across multiple sectors. During his studies he was also honored with the Public Achievement Award, Jean B James Award and the West Publishing Award. Mr. Spallas has been licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Arizona since 1995 and to holds bar admissions in all Arizona courts, the United States District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Currently, Mr. Spallas is pursuing certification as an All Source Intelligence Professional (CASIP) through the McAfee Institute, demonstrating his passion for lifelong learning and his adaptation to an evolving landscape.

Throughout his career, Mr. Spallas has been an active member of several professional organizations. He has been affiliated with the World Association of Professional Investigators and the World Association of Detectives since 2021. Mr. Spallas also was a founding pupil in the James Kent American Inns of Court, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development and legal excellence.

Mr. Spallas credits his perseverance as a key driver of his advancement thus far. To overcome significant adversity during his younger years, including periods of semi-homelessness as a young adult, he relied on resourcefulness instilled by his parents to navigate challenging circumstances. He persisted in meeting his objectives and educational milestones, and despite setbacks such as dropping out of high school, he earned the General Educational Development certificate before going on to pursue undergraduate studies. Notably, Mr. Spallas also acknowledged his faith and became a Christian, which was a transformative experience that has since guided both his personal life and professional journey in positive ways.

Mr. Spallas's contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the Patriot Award from the Department of Defense in 2025 and a civilian designation as an Honorary Commander for the 943rd Security Forces Squadron by the United States Air Force in 2023. In 2024, Mr. Spallas was nominated & participated in the 70th Annual National Security Forum, Air University, Air War College, Maxwell AFB in Alabama. Mr. Spallas also actively seeks opportunities for civic service and has volunteered as a food server at Gospel Rescue Mission. Mr. Spallas values family life with his bride of over 35 years, Christine, and their four adult children Jordan, Hunter, Hannah, and Nichlas.
