Mr. Mignogna has established a multifaceted career marked by leadership, technical expertise and a commitment to service. In 2025, he began serving as a project manager for ABM Electrical Power Solutions LLC, where he is responsible for ensuring the completion of multi-million-dollar projects constantly juggling the needs of the customers, the expectations of the company, and the wellbeing of his technicians. This is primarily accomplished through the art of communication with other project managers at ABM, and his supervisors both local and at other branches, expanding his professional network. While only there a short time Mr. Mignogna has already begun teaching NFPA 70E classes to the technicians. Mr. Mignogna's role at ABM Industries reflects his technical acumen, ability to manage complex operations, and support team and mission success.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Mignogna developed foundational skills across a variety of roles that contributed to his professional growth. Prior to his current position, he worked as a NETA electrical testing technician at MTAEE in San Diego, California, from 2020 to 2021. He also gained experience as a rigger with Pedowitz Machinery Moving in Brooklyn, New York, in 2003, and with S&J Machinery Moving in South Hampton, Pennsylvania, in 2002.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Mignogna held roles that further developed his versatility and work ethic, including working as a plumber with Crowley Plumbing in Yardley, Pennsylvania, from 2000 to 2002. Here he got his first taste of project management, helping the owner of the company plan all facets of new construction plumbing from the underground to the rough-in and finally the finished product; assisting with ordering materials and fixtures as well as helping with timelines that worked with customers.
In addition to his professional roles, Mr. Mignogna dedicated significant service to the United States Navy. He was a facilities engineering technician in Washington, DC, from 2022 to 2025, contributing to the maintenance and operational readiness of critical infrastructure. From 2019 to 2022, he served as a facilities leading petty officer at the United States Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station in San Diego, California, overseeing facility operations and supporting mission-critical communications.
Between 2017 and 2019, Mr. Mignogna served as a Mobile Utilities Support Equipment forward operating base technician with the Naval Facilities Expeditionary Warfare Command at Port Hueneme CBC Base, California. He also gained international experience as an N6 critical power Leading Petty Officer at the United States Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station in Naples, Italy, from 2013 to 2017.
Previously, Mr. Mignogna held the position of MUSE engineering readiness branch technician at the same command from 2010 to 2013. Earlier in his military career, he was a heavy equipment mechanic with the United States Navy in Gulfport, Mississippi, from 2005 to 2009. In his over 21-year military tenure, Mr. Mignogna achieved the rank of Construction Mechanic Chief Petty Officer, demonstrating sustained leadership and technical proficiency.
Mr. Mignogna's technical expertise is further supported by several certifications, including a certification in advanced mechanics from the Construction Mechanic C School in 2013, a certification in electrical and electronics engineering from the United States Army Prime Power in 2010 and a certification in power distribution and electrical systems testing from the United States Army Prime Power in 2010.
Beyond his career, Mr. Mignogna is actively engaged in civic and philanthropic efforts, including support as a donor to the Melanoma Cancer Foundation in memory of Amanda Rose Miller, one of his former classmates, as well as contributions to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Wounded Warrior Project. Notably, Mr. Mignogna is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, reflecting his ongoing commitment to supporting fellow veterans.
Reflecting on his professional journey, Mr. Mignogna attributes his achievements to a strong support system provided by both his family and the military community. Additionally, he credits his wife for her unwavering encouragement throughout his career and acknowledges that her support has been vital to his accomplishments.
In his personal life, Mr. Mignogna values time spent with family and enjoys fishing, softball, playing golf, and house projects. Looking ahead, he is dedicated to supporting his wife's career aspirations after years of selfless dedication within their family and military life. Alongside these personal commitments, Mr. Mignogna aims to advance professionally by pursuing opportunities such as becoming a regional vice president of operations within his company; with further plans of starting a not-for-profit food truck, in support of the blue collar working community, as a retirement "job".
