From 2024 to 2025, Mr. Vasquez served as vice president of customer success at Coupa, focusing on ensuring client satisfaction and was responsible for coaching and developing an international team while serving as a critical bridge between customers and product groups. He provided senior executives with actionable insights—particularly in areas such as tariff optimization—and advised on both operational and strategic challenges. His leadership directly contributed to helping enterprises capture greater value, strengthen competitiveness, and adapt to rapidly changing global trade conditions.

Between 2023 and 2024, he held the position of global head of supply chain professional services, after excelling as regional vice resident of professional services for the Americas from 2022 to 2023, and as regional vice president of customer services and value management from 2021 to 2023. Mr. Vasquez began his career at the organization in 2012 as a senior supply chain design consultant, providing expert guidance on supply chain design projects for multinational clients—work that laid the foundation for his trajectory as an industry leader.

Prior to joining Coupa, Mr. Vasquez was a key account manager for Logistics Services (DHL) in Panama from 2011 to 2012, where he oversaw critical accounts and supported operations across Central America. He began his career at Tetra Pak in 2008 in operations and supply chain roles, gaining foundational experience with a global leader in food processing and packaging.

Mr. Vasquez holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua (2008), a master's degree in supply chain management from Universidad Latina de Panamá (2009), and an MBA from the same institution (2009). He further earned a Master of Science in supply chain engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2011). Additionally, he holds certifications in supply chain design and network optimization from Coupa Supply Chain Solutions, Powered by LLamasoft (2020).

Recognizing his expertise, LLamasoft invited him to establish its presence in Latin America—an opportunity that launched his career in supply chain technology. This pivotal role not only marked his entry into the software industry but also positioned him as a bridge between global markets and innovative U.S. technology, ultimately leading to his long-term leadership at LLamasoft and, following its 2020 acquisition, at Coupa.

Mr. Vasquez has remained deeply engaged with leading industry organizations, advancing the global dialogue on supply chain technology and innovation. He has served as a board member of the Panama Roundtable for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (since 2011), a board member of the Asociación Panameña de Ejecutivos de la Cadena de Suministros (since 2013), a committee member of the CSCMP Young Professionals Committee (since 2014), and, most recently, as a board member of the Florida CSCMP Roundtable (since 2025). In addition, he is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences, where he showcases cutting-edge technology and innovative practices that are shaping the future of supply chains worldwide.
