NASHVILLE, TN, September 23, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John L. Flores has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Hailing from a dynamic career that spans more than two decades, Mr. Flores has established himself as a leading expert in entertainment advertising in the art, film and design realms. His professional journey is marked by a willingness to take risks, relocate for new opportunities and consistently prove his capabilities in each new environment he reaches.

Mr. Flores founded 11th Hour Advertising in the Nashville metropolitan area — relocating after five successful years as 11th Hour LLC in the Greater Los Angeles Area — where he serves as the creative director. Alongside his wife, who is the company's director of marketing, he oversees daily operations including client communications, outreach to existing clients and proactive cold pitching to secure new business. Their vision for 11th Hour is to position it as a premier advertising firm in Nashville, with a focus on faith-based and conservative brands and films. He is also working to broaden the agency's reach into sectors such as food and beverage, corporate branding, construction and medical services, reflecting his commitment to expanding beyond traditional entertainment advertising.

Prior to launching 11th Hour Advertising, Mr. Flores was the lead key art creative director at Bentkey Ventures in Nashville from 2023 to 2024. In this role, he led creative direction for theatrical releases as well as digital platforms, further honing his expertise in visual storytelling and brand development.

Before relocating to Nashville, Mr. Flores gained significant experience as a self-employed creative director, finisher and senior art director in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. This period allowed him to collaborate with major clients such as Netflix, NBC and Warner Bros. while mentoring junior creative designers on best layout and design practices. In 2017, he held the position of creative director and finisher at bpg Advertising and was also creative director at eclipse in Burbank, California, where he contributed to major campaigns and expanded his leadership skills.

Mr. Flores' tenure as the senior art director at BLT Communications from 2011 to 2013 stands out as a defining chapter in his career. During this time, he worked on the film "Warm Bodies" for Summit Entertainment — a project he considers his most significant professional achievement. Despite initial resistance regarding his graphic design concept for the film's promotional materials, he successfully advocated for his vision. Summit Entertainment ultimately embraced his artwork, replacing all previous publicity materials with his designs across book covers, CD cases and other media. He produced a total of 30 pieces for the campaign, including character posters, billboards, teaser posters and digital assets — an accomplishment that underscores both his creativity and perseverance.

From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Flores was an art director at Ignition Print in Santa Monica, California, where he contributed to numerous high-profile projects within the entertainment industry. Earlier roles include head production artist at Intralink Film and Graphic Design in Beverly Hills from 2005 to 2008 and graphic artist at Hot Topic in City of Industry from 2003 to 2005, both of which provided him with valuable experience that contributed to his growth as an industry leader.

Mr. Flores' storied success in marketing and advertising stems in part from his academic foundation, which includes a Bachelor of Science in visual communications and graphic design from Westwood College — Denver North Campus. Inspired by a documentary featuring renowned graphic designers — and motivated by a lifelong passion for storytelling and cinema — he chose graphic design as his pathway into the film industry with aspirations of writing screenplays and creating movie posters.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Flores has demonstrated civic engagement as a mentor and speaker for the internship program at BLT Communications, sharing his insights with aspiring creatives entering the field. He attributes much of his success to a strong work ethic and the desire to continually improve himself both professionally and personally. These qualities have enabled him to achieve recognition across multiple organizations while adapting to new challenges with each career move.

In recognition of his outstanding creative work on major film and television franchises, Mr. Flores has been honored with several accolades at the Clio Entertainment Awards, including a gold award for television and streaming for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" in 2015 and a bronze award for "Duck Dynasty" in 2013. Also recognized by the Key Art Awards for his work on multiple hit projects, he received a bronze winner designation for print wild post for "Ted" in 2012, silver honors for the print specialty campaign for "Despicable Me" and theatrical interactive acknowledgement for "For Colored Girls" in 2011.

In his personal life, Mr. Flores is happily married and enjoys writing screenplays, playing baseball and basketball, attending concerts and watching movies — pursuits that reflect both his creativity and appreciation for storytelling across mediums.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Flores is dedicated to growing 11th Hour Advertising into one of Nashville's leading marketing agencies while expanding its services across multiple industries. His devotion to effective leadership and mentorship — combined with his longstanding passion for art, promotion and storytelling — positions him as an influential figure throughout Los Angeles, Nashville and the creative community at large.
