Before that appointment, she was the operations manager for preliminary investigations at the Pentagon from 2016 to 2018. Her military career also includes roles as chief compliance officer in Kuwait and Iraq, managing director at Fort Lee, Virginia, logistics executive at Fort Bliss, Texas, regional operations executive with the Defense Logistics Agency, executive officer and support operations officer, among many other prominent roles.

Ms. Wrancher's academic achievements have significantly contributed to her success. She earned a Master of Science in military and strategic leadership from the Marine Corps University in 2005, a Master of Arts in human resources management and services from the University of Oklahoma in 2002, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Methodist University in 1995. Ms. Wrancher also holds a Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma Management from the Lean Six Sigma Institute, obtained in 2020. This certification underscores her proficiency in process improvement methodologies that enhance operational efficiency.

Ms. Wrancher's commitment to civic engagement is evident through her involvement with various organizations. As vice chair of public policy and advocacy for the Junior League of Charlotte since 2022, she aims to rally Junior League chapters across North Carolina to establish a state public advocacy committee, focused on education advocacy. Previously, she served as vice president of communications for The Rocks Inc., chair of the Ascend Program for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and chairperson of the Emerging Young Leaders Program.
