From 1999 to 2009, he served as the chief pilot and director of operations for Blue Sky Group Inc., in Van Nuys, California, overseeing the management of a Gulfstream IV and G1159 aircraft. Throughout his career, Mr. Sherif has demonstrated expertise in aircraft safety, aviation safety and aircraft management. Mr. Sherif's expertise is underscored by his past involvement as a private contractor on an experimental government contract, where he piloted and showcased a Gulfstream II with advanced mapping equipment, a project that remains a point of pride in his career. He has also been instrumental in numerous aircraft acquisitions and quality control processes, including the negotiation and purchase of an aircraft previously owned by Toyota through Gulfstream Aerospace.

Over a span of 30 years, he has maintained an unblemished safety record, free from accidents and incidents, earning recognition from the National Business Aviation Association for his dedication and professionalism.

Mr. Sherif's educational foundation began in Hamburg, Germany, where he completed his German Abitur at the Sankt-Ansgar-Schule with distinction, placing among the top 2% of students nationwide. He pursued coursework in computer science at the college level in Germany before attending college in the United States with a focus on law and economics. His 5 Airline Transport Type Ratings award him with multiple master's degree equivalents.

From an early age, Mr. Sherif demonstrated a deep passion for aviation. This interest was nurtured by his mother's encouragement and frequent travels during childhood, which included visits to airplane flight decks that left a lasting impression on him. Growing up near a glider field in Hamburg provided Mr. Sherif with the opportunity to begin flying at age 14, and by 15, he had completed his first 45-minute solo flight in a glider.

Mr. Sherif's professional aviation career was shaped by international experience and rigorous training. In 1984, he was selected to participate in the Congress-Bundestag exchange program between Germany and the United States, under the leadership of Youth for Understanding, which allowed him to experience and finish his senior High School year in Simi Valley California. After returning to Hamburg, this formative experience set the stage for his rapid progression, culminating in his future qualification as a flight instructor in 1991. From there, Mr. Sherif's career trajectory accelerated as he transitioned from flying Learjets to becoming type-rated on multiple Gulfstream models. Ultimately, he has qualified as an airline transport pilot for these aircraft and the Boeing 747, a milestone that fulfilled a lifelong dream.

In addition to his aviation pursuits, Mr. Sherif is dedicated to civic engagement, contributing as a donor to various causes. Additionally, he is the founder of Owner Power LLC, which operates CondoParrot.com, an online platform designed to help new condominium owners navigate complex ownership challenges. Through these platforms, Mr. Sherif seeks to give back to the community by sharing knowledge gained from personal experience.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Sherif enjoys reading, swimming, working out, running marathons, playing squash and badminton, scuba diving, hiking and bike riding.
