WASHINGTON, D.C., September 25, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nora Ezzat Cozzillio, Esq., has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Currently serving as an associate attorney at Tully Rinckey, PLLC since 2022, Ms. Cozzillio has established herself as a dedicated and accomplished legal professional. She manages a diverse caseload in this capacity, engaging daily with clients who face labor and employment disputes such as sexual harassment, disability prejudice, and race discrimination. Her responsibilities include attending conferences with federal, state and administrative judges, mentoring junior associates and participating in settlement negotiations and mediations.

Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Ms. Cozzillio was an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Leah V. Durant, PLLC from 2021 to 2022. There, she focused on medical personal injury law, specifically handling cases related to vaccine injections and administrations. Although she found the work valuable for her professional development, she realized that her interests lay elsewhere within the legal field.

In 2021, Ms. Cozzillio also held the position of associate attorney at District Legal Group, PLLC. Her earlier experience includes serving as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of David P. Sheldon from 2019 to 2020. At this civilian military defense firm, she represented active duty service members, reservists and veterans before various military tribunals. During her tenure, she contributed significant research to a landmark case — United States v. Briggs— which reached the Supreme Court of the United States. Her efforts helped expand the statute of limitations for sexual assault cases in the military, affording victims greater opportunity to seek justice.

Ms. Cozzillio's professional journey also includes a role as an associate at Integreon in 2020 and as a student attorney with Columbus Community Legal Services in 2018. While in law school, she participated in a program that allowed students to practice under clinical supervision at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She worked extensively in an immigration clinic representing clients in administrative proceedings such as family court, criminal court, and bond hearings, gaining invaluable experience. Her early career included a judicial internship with The Honorable Toni E. Clarke at the Circuit Court for Prince George's County in 2018.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Cozzillio earned a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., graduating in 2020. During her studies, she was actively involved as a student attorney and was an executive board member in the Women's Law Caucus and the Immigration and Refugee Interest Society. She also completed a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and communications from the University of Maryland in College Park in 2014 and undertook coursework through a study abroad program in sociology at The American University in Cairo in 2011.

To expand her qualifications and client base, Ms. Cozzillio has been admitted to practice law by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Dedicated to the ideals of lifelong learning, she continues to evolve as a practitioner to help as many people in need as possible.

Ms. Cozzillio is an active member of several industry-related organizations including the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Organization. She has also contributed to advocacy groups such as Students for Public Interest Law and the Women's Law Caucus, reflecting her desire to empower the next generation of legal aspirants and increase diversity throughout the field. Additionally, she is affiliated with the National Alliance on Mental Illness as a local volunteer and advocate.

Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Cozzillio is civically engaged through volunteer work with Little Paws Dachshund Rescue — through which she and her husband foster rescue dachshunds in need — and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami. Her outstanding achievements were recognized in 2025 when she received a Rising Star notification through Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers for Washington, D.C. in civil litigation.

Born in Columbia, Maryland, into a multicultural household — her father is Egyptian, and her mother is German — Ms. Cozzillio credits her upbringing with shaping her holistic worldview and ability to navigate complex issues with empathy and perspective. She attributes much of her success to her husband's unwavering support and encouragement from her parents and in-laws, all of whom supported her sharp transition from marketing and event planning to the legal realm.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Cozzillio is committed to expanding her licensure to additional courts and ultimately aims to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. She also aspires to become a partner at Tully Rinckey while continuing to broaden the firm's practice groups. Her career reflects legal acumen and dedication to advocacy, mentorship and community service — qualities that underscore her selection for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who.
