PEORIA, AZ, September 29, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brandon E. Fornwalt, DO, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Demonstrating unwavering commitment to patient care and professional excellence throughout his career, Dr. Fornwalt has established himself as a leading expert in otolaryngology — which focuses on medical matters of the head and neck. As a partner at Valley ENT since 2025 and a surgeon since 2023, he has played a pivotal role in the practice, consulting with patients multiple times each week, performing ear, nose and throat surgeries once a week and providing on-call coverage around the clock for one week each month. His expertise and dedication have contributed significantly to the reputation and success of Valley ENT throughout his community and industry at large.

In his practice at Valley ENT, Dr. Fornwalt applies advanced technology and robotics in both office-based procedures and surgical interventions. He is particularly proud of securing a position in the highly competitive ear, nose and throat specialty, which is recognized as one of the top three most selective fields in the United States. He was ranked number one in Ohio for his specialty during his training, underscoring his skill and determination. The field's unique blend of working with adults and children, combining office practice with surgery and utilizing cutting-edge technology has provided him with both a rewarding career and a balanced lifestyle.

Prior to joining Valley ENT, Dr. Fornwalt completed a five-year otolaryngology residency at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, Mercy Health in Youngstown, Ohio. This rigorous training equipped him with comprehensive clinical experience and surgical proficiency, laying a strong foundation for his subsequent accomplishments.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Fornwalt worked as an autopsy technician for the Brain and Body Donation Program in Arizona, where he gained valuable insights into anatomical science and research methodologies that would later inform his medical practice. His initial exposure to medicine began as a receptionist at Valley ENT, where he managed filing duties and administrative responsibilities. This early experience provided him with firsthand knowledge of patient care operations and furthered his pursuit of a medical career.

Dr. Fornwalt's equally accomplished academic background includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. Prior to that, he graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology with a pre-medicine focus from Bob Jones University in 2012. His academic achievements were recognized through several honors, including being named Most Outstanding Student at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and nominated for the National Award for Most Outstanding Student. Along with his education, he credits his determination and perseverance as key factors in his medical success.

Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Fornwalt has received several grants supporting his research initiatives and was featured in a local Latino health care magazine for his contributions to the field of otolaryngology. Reflecting his commitment to ongoing education and collaboration within the specialty, he is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Fornwalt's dedication extends beyond clinical practice to include scholarly activity and civic engagement. A sought-after public speaker, he has presented at national conferences hosted by the American Academy of Otolaryngology and has authored multiple peer-reviewed papers. Also passionate about giving back to his community, he has volunteered with Meals on Wheels America, supports local food banks and provided six years of service as a hospital patient transport volunteer.

A proud father, Dr. Fornwalt cherishes his family life and enjoys spending time outdoors with his son — playing tennis and basketball, exercising and hiking together. In the coming years, he aspires to become one of Arizona's top ear, nose and throat doctors by delivering exceptional care to patients and fostering strong professional relationships within the medical community. His dedication to helping those in need and passion for advancing the field of otolaryngology continues to set a shining example for his colleagues and community alike.
