Mr. Farag has established a distinguished career in supply chain management, having served as the senior manager of inventory optimization and control at Olympus Corporation since 2023. In this role, he is responsible for rightsizing inventory, reducing excess stock and ensuring lean operations. He also oversees various projects and establishes contracts with vendors to maintain effective inventory management.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Farag was the director of demand planning at L'Oreal for two years, where he honed his skills in forecasting and managing product demand. Before that, he served as the director of global planning at West Pharmaceutical Services as part of covid-19 vaccine deployment taskforce leading the CMO in collaboration with Moderna, Pfizer and J&J. His career also includes a tenure as head of demand planning at Scholl's Wellness Company from 2019 to 2021 and as a senior principal consultant and owner of Qual-IT-Consulting LLC from 2015 to 2020.

Before these roles, Mr. Farag was a demand planning manager III at Bayer from 2018 to 2019 and held a similar role at L'Oreal the preceding year. His early career included positions like teaching assistant for the Department of Entrepreneurship at Rutgers Business School and Lean Six Sigma intern at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Mr. Farag's first business experience was in entrepreneurship when he founded Xtreme Bargainz in 2012 and served as chief executive officer. He began this venture during a recession and started the company with a $20,000 investment, using credit cards to pay employees. Despite limited resources, he generated $650,000 in gross sales within the first year, enabling him to buy his first property with cash and avoid mortgage challenges as a self-employed individual.

Academically, Mr. Farag earned an MBA in supply chain management from Rutgers Business School in 2016. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology from The College of New Jersey, earned in 2012, and an Associate of Science in biology and chemistry from Mercer County Community College, completed in 2010. Additionally, he attended veterinary medicine school at Cairo University, Egypt in 2006 before immigrating to the United States.

Mr. Farag's educational accomplishments are complemented by numerous certifications, including being an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator since 2009 and holding A+ and Network+ certifications from CompTIA since 2008. His commitment to continuous learning is further demonstrated by his early certifications in analytical methods of biochemical parameters from Cairo University in 2005.

Throughout his career, Mr. Farag has received several awards, including the Most Valuable Supervisor for the District from Best Buy in 2009 and the New Jersey State Appreciation Award the same year. His contributions extend to academia as well with his co-authorship of a research paper titled "Rice CYP734A Cytochrome P450s Inactive Brassinosteriods in Arabidopsis," published in Planta in 2011.

Outside of work, Mr. Farag enjoys cycling, open diving, traveling, learning about different cultures, cooking, and hosting board games in his free time. He is also dedicated to volunteer work at his church. In the upcoming years in his professional life, he intends to lead the supply chain at his organization and is considering a running for public service roles to further contribute to society.
