LAS VEGAS, NV, October 01, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chelsea A. Patterson has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

As the executive director of the Adopt a Vet Dental Program, Ms. Patterson has established herself as a difference maker in the nonprofit sector. Since assuming her role in 2025, she has been instrumental in expanding access to dental care for low-income Veterans who have long been without it. Under her leadership, the organization has forged partnerships with over 170 volunteer dentists and generous donors across Nevada and opened a state-of-the-art dental clinic in Reno, which also functions as a training center. Her commitment to improving internal systems through Lean Six Sigma principles has significantly streamlined case management processes, enhancing service delivery efficiency.

Prior to reaching her current position at Adopt a Vet, Ms. Patterson served as the organization's assistant executive director from 2024 to 2025. In this capacity, she honed her skills in nonprofit leadership, budgeting, strategic planning and business operations, laying the groundwork for her subsequent promotion and achievements. Her earlier career includes a role as the children's ministry director at FERVENT: a Calvary Chapel from 2023 to 2024, during which she demonstrated her ability to lead volunteers, enhance family engagement and inspire community-focused initiatives.

From 2019 to 2024, Ms. Patterson was a closing team leader at Target, where she was appointed as a regional trainer and awarded bonuses for consistently achieving green metrics in nine out of 10 qualifications over three years. Her efforts contributed to driving sales growth from $47 million to $62 million. Before this, she worked as a nonprofit specialist with The Carrying On Project — another nonprofit organization supporting military Veterans and families — from 2014 to 2017 and again from 2017 to 2022, advocating for overlooked populations and facilitating fundraising events.

Ms. Patterson's storied career began with roles that laid a strong foundation for her future endeavors. She was a guest service attendant at Target from 2016 to 2017 and held various positions at Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain from 2008 to 2013, including social media manager, web developer and audio editor. Earlier still, she was a senior teller at Washington Mutual Bank from 2007 to 2008 and a guest service team lead at Target from 2004 to 2007, showcasing her remarkably diverse skill set built over the course of two decades.

Academically, Ms. Patterson earned a diploma from Mead Senior High School in 2005 and completed coursework in music theory and composition at Spokane Falls Community College. She attributes much of her success in nonprofit leadership to the unwavering support of her husband, who has dedicated two decades to his military career in the United States Air Force, and the guidance of exceptional leaders — Stanton Johnson, her store director at Target, and Demetrio Gonzalez, the chief executive officer at Adopt a Vet — who have invested their time in her professional development; as well as Pastor Jimmy Morales of Fervent Pastor Morales' guidance and example of faith-driven leadership have been instrumental in strengthening Ms. Patterson's commitment to service, community, and purpose.

In addition to her vocational accomplishments, Ms. Patterson is actively involved in civic organizations such as the Elks Lodge Las Vegas and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Furthermore, she volunteers with her local church's worship team and children's ministry and participates in outreach programs through Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Happily married and a proud mother of six sons and four daughters, Ms. Patterson cherishes spending quality time with her family and constantly seeks additional ways to engage with her community. Looking toward the future with determination, she aims to expand the Adopt a Vet Dental Program beyond Nevada to encompass all 50 states, continuing her mission-driven work to provide essential dental care for underserved Veterans across the nation.
