Dr. Littlejohn's earlier career includes serving in global security and ethics at American Standard Company from 2001 to 2006. In this capacity, she developed and implemented strategies to safeguard corporate assets and uphold ethical standards worldwide. For the preceding 13 years, she was the senior manager of global security at Avon Products Incorporated in New York City, where she managed international security operations and risk mitigation efforts.
Among Dr. Littlejohn's most notable achievements is being selected as a speaker for the inaugural TEDx event at The College of the Florida Keys. Chosen from one hundred applicants, she was one of thirteen speakers invited to present and live stream her insights, a milestone that fulfilled a long-held aspiration.
Dr. Littlejohn's academic credentials are extensive. She earned a doctorate in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix in 2016, following a Master of Business Administration in global management from the same institution in 2006. Her educational foundation also includes a Bachelor of Science in business management awarded by the University of Phoenix in 2002. Furthering her expertise in the field, she was actively involved in industry organizations, such as the International Security Management Association and the Domestic Security Advisory Council.
Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Littlejohn has earned numerous advanced certifications from leading institutions. In 2009, she completed the Leading Teams in Professional Services Firms program at Harvard Business School. She also participated in the leadership program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 2002 and completed the management program at Cornell University in 1995.

She served on the board of directors for Girl Scouts of the USA and previously for Girl Scouts of Greater New York. In recognition of her contributions there, she received a leadership award from Girl Scouts. Her leadership also extended to serving on the board of directors for the International Security Management Association for one year and as an advisory board member for Pace University's Dyson College for six years, among several other civic associations.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Littlejohn balances her professional life with personal interests that includes exercising, playing pickleball and tennis, reading, and practicing yoga. She is also devoted to her family. Looking ahead professionally, she aims to reach more women by supporting them in achieving their true potential, a passion that has guided much of her work.
