Ms. Prokofyeva's tenure at Tiffany & Co. began in 1998, when she joined the company as product lifecycle management analyst. Between 2001 and 2018, she worked in the technical support of product development, which included system transactions and gemstones' movement at Tiffany & Co. She worked with designers while performing DAL (Development Asset Library) functions, when she processed company designs.

Concurrently from 2001 to 2016, Ms. Prokofyeva taught Russian language at CP Language Institute, sharing her linguistic expertise with students and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Her career as an educator began much earlier. Since 1994, Ms. Prokofyeva has been a freelance teacher of Russian and English, helping countless students achieve language proficiency. From 1994 to 2004, she taught Russian language at the Russian Language Learning Center, further establishing herself as a dedicated instructor. From 1994 to 1997, she was senior English as a Second Language instructor and case manager at the Higher Education Development Fund. In 1995, Ms. Prokofyeva taught Russian language at City University of New York's Baruch College, contributing her expertise to higher education in New York City. That same year, she worked as a data entry operator at Frost & Sullivan. Earlier in her career, she taught English as a Second Language at Kharkov Institute of Municipal Engineering from 1991 to 1993 and at Public School No. 65 from 1986 to 1991.

Among her most cherished accomplishments is her early work as an English language teacher at the TAP Center in New York City. There, Ms. Prokofyeva helped 29 Dominican students with minimal English skills become confident enough to conduct official interviews in English within just a few months. Her clear teaching style and dedication earned praise from both students and staff alike.

Ms. Prokofyeva's academic background includes a Master of Arts in English as a second language and foreign literature from Kharkov State University in Kharkiv, Ukraine, completed in 1986. This advanced degree provided the foundation for her extensive teaching career and underpinned her success in roles requiring strong communication skills.

Ms. Prokofyeva has further enhanced her qualifications through several certifications: home health aide license from Atlas International of New York, accredited jewelry professional and graduate pearls certification from the Gemological Institute of America and mainframe programming coursework at ASA Institute of Technology. Each credential reflects her commitment to lifelong learning and adaptability across industries.

Introduced to the English language at a young age by her grandmother, who recognized its importance even in the early 1960s, Ms. Prokofyeva developed an early affinity for languages that shaped both her educational pursuits and professional path. She has contributed scholarly work as author of several reports presented at English as a Second Language conferences at Kharkov Institute of Civil Engineers in Ukraine in 1992. Additionally, two of her photographs were published in CNN online photo galleries in 2010, highlighting her creative interests beyond academia and business.

Ms. Prokofyeva's achievements have been recognized through honors such as second place for her diploma paper in the City Competition, a testament to her skill and dedication within her field. Her success, she believes, stems from her grandmother's early influence, her own clear purpose and a strong sense of personal fit with the work she chose, far removed from the medical career her parents once envisioned for her.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Prokofyeva enjoys traveling, photography, reading, listening to music, singing and dancing while exploring different countries and cultures, pursuits that reflect both curiosity and appreciation for diversity.
