In 2012, Ms. Rush founded Ridge Pointe Consulting, where she served as owner and principal until 2018. This venture enabled her to resume consulting after relocating to Switzerland, where Novartis employed her husband. Her firm provided strategic marketing and business solutions, further honing her skills in problem-solving and client engagement.

Ms. Rush's earlier career includes significant roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb's division Convatec, where she held various positions from 2003 to 2010. As associate director of global ostomy marketing in 2010, she developed a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with chronic diseases. Her tenure also included roles such as associate director of global strategy and business risk from 2007 to 2008, manager of global strategy and business risk from 2006 to 2007, product manager for U.S. wound therapeutics marketing from 2005 to 2006, product manager for U.S. ostomy marketing/consumer health care in 2005, and associate product manager for U.S. ostomy marketing/consumer health care from 2003 to 2005.

Ms. Rush's academic background laid a strong foundation for her career achievements. She earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing and strategic management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Previously, she completed a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry with a minor in Spanish from Union College in 1996. Her education was complemented by the discipline instilled during her training at the San Francisco Ballet School, which has been crucial in her professional journey.

Ms. Rush's professional contributions have been recognized with awards, including the President's Award from Convatec in 2008 and the Global Marketing Excellence Award in 2004.
