From 2021 to 2024, he served as chief executive officer of Western Care Construction Company Inc., where he led efforts to ensure continuity and growth. Mr. Harmon's long-standing association with Western Care Construction Company Inc. began in 1999 when he assumed the role of vice president, a position he held until 2010.
Mr. Harmon's professional background also includes leadership in real estate development and investment. From 2007 to 2012, he served as developer and retail broker for Montano De El Dorado, where he was instrumental in advancing commercial real estate projects.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Harmon worked as a real estate developer for Arlington Gardens Care Center from 2006 to 2009, focusing on senior care communities. Additionally, he gained a decade of experience as a developer and advisory board member for The Ridge Golf Course from 1998 to 2008, where he provided strategic guidance on development projects.
Historically, Mr. Harmon contributed to the family business established by his father in the 1970s, which specialized in the development of senior care communities, including skilled nursing, independent living and assisted living facilities. This work became the foundation of his career, centered on real estate development and construction. Following his father's passing, Mr. Harmon assumed the role of chief executive officer, guiding the organization through its transition from founder-led leadership to the next generation.

He served as a delegate supporting President Donald Trump as a California state delegate in both 2016 and 2020, and most recently participated as a delegate for the 2024 state party in Milwaukee. He is currently a supporter of The Gathering Inn and previously served on the boards of KVIE Public Television from 2009 to 2015, Seniors First between 2007 and 2010. Beyond his board service, he has also participated as a member of various other charitable initiatives. In addition, Mr. Harmon is an active member of The Sutter Club in Sacramento, reflecting his dedication to professional networking and civic involvement.
Mr. Harmon's creative endeavors include authoring "Marijuana Hater's Guide to Making a Billion Dollars from Hemp: The Next Disruptive Industry," published by Farmbridge Inc. in 2021 after nearly a decade studying cannabis across multiple countries. His research into cannabis began as a hobby but evolved into an exploration of its social and legal implications after discovering its lack of fatality risk, a finding that fueled his interest further.
Born in Sacramento, Mr. Harmon is the father of five children and enjoys cigars and traveling during his personal time.
