From 2006 to 2010, she was a Leasing Consultant at Colony Point Apartments, where she supervised a team of consultants and maintenance staff and gained valuable insight into operations and leadership. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Cold Stone Creamery, Dillard's, New York & Company, and Laser Quest, where she developed strong skills in customer service, sales, marketing, and management.

Ms. Larrea's academic background, which includes a Bachelor of Science in communications from Old Dominion University, has been pivotal in shaping her communication skills and future success in community engagement. Along with her education, she attributes her achievements to the unwavering support of her family, friends, coworkers and mentors who have guided her personal and professional growth.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Larrea serves as Vice President Membership for the Virginia Beach Toastmasters Club, where she has been recognized with the Best Icebreaker Speech Award and Best Table Topics Award. Furthermore, she was named among the Top 40 Under 40 by Inside Business in 2024, highlighting her impact on community engagement and customer relations.

Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Larrea has engaged in extensive work with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the Boys and Girls Club, the Norfolk SPCA Adoption Center, Families of Autistic Children of Tidewater, and Special Olympics.
