PINCKNEY, MI, October 07, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Reverend Vicky Lovell has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Pastor Vicky Lovell has established a distinguished career as a spiritual leader, educator and innovator in holistic healing. As co-founder of Angel Whispers Healing Center in Dexter, Michigan, she has played a pivotal role in developing and guiding the center's mission since 2022. Her responsibilities include managing daily operations, meeting with clients individually and in pairs, implementing the "Shift Your Lens: Healing Your Stories" trademarked healing program, managing a large and diverse client base, and adapting daily activities to meet the varying needs of her clients which range from those healing from grief or trauma to those seeking spiritual care and peace. She coordinates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care services; leads guided sound bath meditation sessions using instruments such as gongs, Himalayan singing bowls and chimes; and provides Reiki to individuals and groups. Additionally, under Pastor Lovell's direction, Angel Whispers Healing Center hosts community group activities including Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, meditation sessions, intentional prayer groups, fitness classes, grief support groups and a variety of additional classes focused on mind, body and spiritual wellness.

In her concurrent role as pastor at Living RED Ministries within Angel Whispers Healing Center, Pastor Lovell has furthered her commitment to community-focused healing. The ministry she co-founded with Danielle Groth and Dan McConnell is rooted in the principle of love and welcomes individuals from all walks of life. In their interactive worship experiences, they share their belief that "we come from love to love".

Under the leadership of Lovell, Angel Whispers Healing Center has grown from a modest 70-square-foot office to a 5,000-square-foot healing center. The team now includes a massage therapist, a social worker, a life coach, licensed therapists, a functional medicine doctor, spiritual directors, a sound therapist and clinical EFT practitioner. Together with Danielle Groth, she developed the "Shift Your Lens: Healing Your Stories" trademarked healing modality. This transformative program helps individuals identify pain rooted in past trauma, process it, and reauthor their life patterns for lasting change. The manual for this program is complete, and together Danielle and Vicky travel across the United States teaching its principles. A companion book is forthcoming in the spring of 2026.

Before the formal incorporation of Angel Whispers Ministries in 2021, Pastor Lovell founded Angel Whispers LLC in 2012. The inspiration for the name came from a profound personal experience when her four-year-old son survived a near-death event during surgery, a moment she attributes to angelic intervention. This event led her to author "My Guy in the Sky," an award-winning book published in 2011, which chronicled her experience and launched her speaking tour and ministry career.

From 2016 to 2022, Pastor Lovell served as associate pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor. During this period, she provided spiritual care to congregants while integrating holistic approaches to healing. She was instrumental in developing outreach programs for the homeless community in Ann Arbor, including "God and Grub," which combined devotional services with meals for those in need. Her innovative approach included utilizing a donated bus, painted by a graffiti artist who was formerly homeless, to provide transportation and foster communal connections. Pastor Lovell led multiple mission trips to Uganda – one where she led an international women's conference, another that included 15 teens and 7 adults hosting athletic camps in and around Kampala, and a third trip resulting in the Tsyion Family Hospital being built in the village of Sayyi.

Her pastoral journey began as director of Family Life Ministries at Shalom Life Church in Pinckney from 2012 to 2016. There, she focused on developing the faith formation of families and children. She created programs that supported both children and adults through difficult transitions as she walked with several families through tragic moments of grief. Vicky hosted women's retreats and bible studies to help individuals grow in their faith and relationship with the divine. Pastor Lovell led four mission trips to Baja, Mexico to build homes for families in need and was instrumental in the development of a chicken farm in Uganda that provided employment for local community members. She served as vice-president on the board of Light of the World Academy as they transitioned the once private school out of the church into a charter school open to the public. Additionally, she launched a community wide youth program called the Pinckney Community Youth Development Initiative (PCYDI) to bring hope to the youth of the Pinckney community.

Before entering ministry full-time, Pastor Lovell dedicated two decades to education as a public school teacher and administrator. She taught in DeKalb County Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as in Bloomfield Hills Schools and in Pinckney Community Schools in Michigan holding various roles throughout her twenty-year tenure in public education. In addition, Vicky dedicated time teaching in the Washtenaw County Jail System and Ann Arbor Public Schools Adult Education. Her background as an educator continues to inform her approach to holistic healing and community engagement.

Her academic credentials are extensive. She earned a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in 2017 after completing five years of intense coursework that deepened her theological understanding and pastoral skills. She holds a master's degree in educational leadership and administration from Georgia State University, which she earned in 1997, and a Bachelor of Arts in human development and education from Marquette University, which she completed in 1994. These academic achievements have provided a strong foundation for her work as both an educator and spiritual leader.

Pastor Lovell is certified as a Reiki practitioner and earned a certificate in women's studies from Life University. These certifications have enabled her to integrate energy medicine into her ministry work, an approach that has proven transformative for her many clients.

Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional roles. She is a rostered ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She maintains deep involvement with the members of the homeless community in Washtenaw County through ongoing partnerships with organizations such as Faith in Action. She has collaborated with Girl Scouts of the USA on community projects, including redesigning communal spaces for those experiencing homelessness. Pastor Lovell continues her missionary work in Africa helping to educate children and improve employment opportunities for single women through the development of a goat farm, as well as leading tours in France to help people experience the Divine Feminine in sacred spaces.

Pastor Lovell's creative contributions include authoring "My Guy in the Sky," co-authoring "Reiki and Faith: Supporting Reiki Through Holy Experiences and Scripture" with Groth and preparing to launch both a podcast and YouTube channel dedicated to healing, spirituality and personal growth. Her upcoming book will complement the "Shift Your Lens" manual by helping readers understand how origin stories shape present behaviors and offer ways to process and shift those patterns to lead to overall healing.

Her efforts have been recognized with honors such as the Community Involvement Award for her extensive support of Ann Arbor's local homeless community during the pandemic in 2020.

Born in Chicago, Pastor Lovell is devoted to her family and cherishes time spent with loved ones. Athletics remain central to her identity; she played basketball collegiately at Marquette University and has coached extensively since then. Today she enjoys cheering on her four children in their athletic endeavors. Lovell's interests include boating, hiking, traveling, and outdoor activities.

Looking ahead, Pastor Lovell and Danielle Groth plan to launch the "Shift Your Lens" book, alongside new media projects, including the Go Be Love movement, a podcast and YouTube channel. They created "Hidden in Plain Sight," a YouTube channel guiding participants on journeys to discover hidden spiritual sites worldwide. Lovell's long-term vision includes establishing a large retreat center featuring a "Stations of Love" experience inspired by the compassion of Jesus, offering visitors opportunities for meditation on acts of kindness and Christ's love within an environment dedicated to hope, healing and inspiration.

Pastor Lovell attributes her success to living from love rather than fear, a philosophy that underpins every aspect of her work. By fostering environments where individuals can heal holistically, in mind, body and spirit, she continues to raise consciousness within communities locally, nationally and internationally.
