SEATTLE, WA, October 08, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lacey Meaux, MA, LMFT, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mrs. Meaux has established a distinguished career as a licensed marriage and family therapist, demonstrating more than a decade of dedication to the mental health field. Currently, she leads her own private practice, Lacey Meaux Inc., where she manages a comprehensive caseload and oversees all aspects of client care. In this capacity, Mrs. Meaux typically sees seven clients each day, coordinates with school counselors, networks with psychiatrists, receives referrals from physicians and manages appointments and scheduling. Her responsibilities also include maintaining communication with other providers to ensure continuity of care for her clients.

The decision to launch her private practice stands as Mrs. Meaux's most significant professional achievement. This milestone required considerable courage and determination, as establishing a practice is often regarded as a formidable step in the mental health profession. Through this endeavor, she has demonstrated resilience and adaptability, particularly during periods of uncertainty such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to founding her own practice, Mrs. Meaux served as a licensed marriage and family therapist at Emmaus Counseling Center from 2021 to 2024. During this period, she provided therapeutic services to individuals and families while adapting to the evolving landscape of virtual therapy necessitated by the pandemic. Her work at Emmaus Counseling Center was marked by her commitment to supporting clients through unprecedented challenges.

From 2019 to 2021, Mrs. Meaux contributed her expertise as a marriage and family therapist at Full Circle Counseling Group, now known as LifeStance Health Inc. Concurrently, between 2020 and 2021, she held the position of mental health therapist at Lyra Health Inc., where she provided remote counseling services. This role required her to adapt quickly to telehealth platforms while maintaining high standards of care for her clients.

Mrs. Meaux's earlier professional experiences laid the groundwork for her expertise in family and child therapy. Between 2017 and 2019, she worked as a child and family therapist at Developing Minds LLC, following her role as a clinician III at the Center for Discovery in 2017. Her professional journey began as a clinical intern at Compass Health from 2015 to 2016. This foundational experience allowed Mrs. Meaux to apply academic knowledge in real-world settings while developing essential clinical competencies.

Prior to commencing her career, Mrs. Meaux pursued higher education, laying the groundwork for her approach as a therapist. She earned a master's degree in couples and family therapy from Antioch University Seattle in 2016. Her graduate studies not only provided advanced theoretical knowledge but also prompted significant personal growth; during this time, she gained more profound insight into her own family history and experiences, which enhanced her empathy and effectiveness as a clinician.

Before graduate school, Mrs. Meaux completed her undergraduate education at Central Washington University in 2013, earning a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. During this period, she also began cultivating her commitment to community service, volunteering from 2012 to 2014 with Crisis Connections as a crisis line volunteer, providing immediate support and resources to individuals in distress.

In addition to her formal degrees, Mrs. Meaux holds several professional certifications that underscore her commitment to specialized care. She is recognized as an autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist by Evergreen Certifications LLC for the years 2025 to 2027 and is also certified as an ADHD clinical services provider by Evergreen Certifications LLC for the same period.

Outside her professional endeavors, Mrs. Meaux enjoys reading, crocheting, visiting her nephews and niece, and spending time with her husband and their dog. Looking ahead, she is committed to empowering young women by helping them break free from societal expectations and discover their individual strengths. Drawing on her own experiences overcoming adversity, Mrs. Meaux aims to support young women in understanding their emotions and bodies while fostering self-confidence and independence.
