Concurrently, from 2019 to 2022, she contributed as a teacher at Huntington Learning Center, further broadening her instructional expertise and supporting students in achieving academic growth outside the traditional classroom setting.

Ms. Peck also worked as a private tutor from 2017 to 2020, providing personalized educational support tailored to each student's unique strengths and challenges. Her early teaching career began at Horizon Science Academy Southwest Chicago, where she taught fourth-grade English language arts from 2016 to 2018. This foundational experience solidified her passion for education and set the stage for her future achievements.

Her professional journey includes formative roles outside the classroom as well. From 2016 to 2017, Ms. Peck served as a front desk attendant at the Burbank Park District, where she developed organizational and interpersonal skills essential for educational leadership. She also served as a camp counselor and activity leader at Burbank Park District from 2010 to 2017, fostering youth development through recreational programming.

Throughout her career, Ms. Peck has maintained active membership in several professional organizations that reflect her commitment to educational excellence and leadership development. She is affiliated with the Illinois Alliance of Administrators of Special Education and has been a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success since 2013. Additionally, she has held long-standing memberships with the Bradley Student Education Association and Pi Lambda Theta since 2013 and 2012, respectively. Her engagement with the National Science Teaching Association and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics during 2015 to 2016 further demonstrates her dedication to advancing best practices in teaching.

Ms. Peck's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her professional trajectory. She earned a master's degree in principal preparation from Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois, in 2020, equipping her with advanced knowledge in educational leadership and administration. She graduated summa cum laude from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in education and an LBS1 elementary education endorsement. Her academic excellence was recognized through inclusion on the Dean's List in 2012 and induction into the Academic Hall of Fame at Bradley University in 2016.

She holds certification in CPR/first aid from the American Red Cross, underscoring her commitment to student safety and well-being.

Ms. Peck attributes her success to hard work, dedication and a strong work ethic instilled by supportive mentors, family members and colleagues throughout her journey. Her passion for working with students emerged during her formative years, when she babysat and cared for her younger sister, naturally leading to roles such as summer camp counselor and ultimately inspiring her pursuit of a teaching career. Personal experiences with family members who have physical disabilities and volunteer work at an adult day program during high school introduced her to special education. This field would become central to her career.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Peck is deeply engaged in civic life and creative pursuits. Since 2021, she has served as vice president on the board of directors for Summer Place Theatre, contributing to community arts initiatives. Her musical talents are evident through longstanding service as a special events vocalist at St. Gerald Parish in Oak Lawn, Illinois and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Naperville since 2008. She regularly sings at wedding masses and serves as a cantor for Sunday Masses each month.

Her commitment to service extends to volunteering with Loaves & Fishes Community Services from 2019 to 2021, supporting food security efforts within the community, volunteering at Garden Center from 2009 to 2012, serving as a junior counselor at Burbank Park District from 2007 to 2009, and assisting as a dinner server at St. Blase Soup Kitchen from 2010 to 2016.

Born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, Ms. Peck enjoys music, particularly performing in musical theater during the summer, and values time spent singing within church settings or alongside family celebrations such as weddings or Sunday Masses. She cherishes moments with her daughter and remains committed to personal growth both professionally and creatively.
