FALL RIVER, MA, October 09, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Donald LeBlanc has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. LeBlanc has built a distinguished and multifaceted career marked by entrepreneurship, technical expertise and a longstanding commitment to service. Since 2007, he has served as a chef and the owner of Seascape Clambpoils Etc. in Fall River, Massachusetts, where he oversees catering operations and menu development for specialty dinners at party sites. Performing the gathering, preparation and cooking duties himself, he draws upon decades of culinary experience and business acumen to deliver memorable dining experiences for his clients.
With a longstanding passion for his community and water-based activities, Mr. LeBlanc spent many years as a captain and the owner of Seascape Charters in Fall River. Leveraging his 100-ton master's license and United States Coast Guard captain's license, he provided charter fishing excursions and sightseeing tours for nearly 30 years, sharing his knowledge of boating and the local waterways with countless guests. His leadership at Seascape Charters was underpinned by his extensive maritime training and boat handling certifications from the Northeast Maritime Institute, which he completed in 1998.
In addition to his work in hospitality and recreation, Mr. LeBlanc has maintained a longstanding presence in the construction industry. For more than 30 years, he was a construction supervisor and the owner of DJL Contractors, managing residential and commercial building projects — including kitchens, decks, bathrooms and home additions — throughout Fall River with a focus on quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction. Though he is now retired from full-time work in the field, he continues to engage in home improvement contracting projects within the community.
Mr. LeBlanc's expertise as a builder is complemented by nearly five decades of leadership as a master electrician and the owner of Assonet Electrical Company, a role he began in 1978. Through this enterprise, he provided electrical contracting services across southeastern Massachusetts, holding three electrical licenses that attested to his technical proficiency.
From 2008 to 2013, Mr. LeBlanc served as a construction manager for Turner Industries at Pfizer in Groton, Connecticut. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and development specifications, he oversaw complex construction projects within the pharmaceutical sector.
Mr. LeBlanc's professional journey began with his military service as second class petty officer E-5 in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968. Having served during the Vietnam War and volunteered for a six-month deployment to Antarctica, his time in the armed forces instilled in him resilience and adaptability — qualities that have shaped his approach to both business and life. He is a lifetime member of the Underwater Demolition Team (UDT-SEAL) Association and the Navy SEAL Museum, as well as a member of the United States Navy Underwater Swimmers and the American Legion.
Early on in his career, Mr. LeBlanc pursued higher education and earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Johnson & Wales University in 1980 as well as an associate degree in business management from Fischer Junior College in 1977. His academic achievements provided him with a strong foundation in organizational leadership, finance and operations — skills that have proven invaluable throughout his many entrepreneurial ventures.
Reflecting on his remarkable journey thus far, Mr. LeBlanc attributes much of his success to the perspective gained during his military service in Vietnam — a period that encouraged him to embrace new challenges, appreciate life's opportunities and support others whenever possible.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. LeBlanc is actively involved in civic organizations and charitable initiatives. He is a member of Grace Gospel Church and supports several philanthropic causes as a donor to the Navy SEAL Foundation, the UDT-SEAL Foundation and local community efforts. As the team lead for the Chowda Heads toboggan racing team, he happily donates free clam chowder and stuffies at events as well as coffee and cream for snowmobilers.
Born in Fall River, Mr. LeBlanc is a proud father of three daughters and cherishes time spent with his two grandchildren. Along with his love of toboggan racing, he enjoys a wide range of interests such as hang gliding, fishing, jet skiing, underwater photography, scuba diving and restoring cars. Creatively, he enjoys collaborating with his daughter on jewelry made from wampum shells and painting acrylics on canvas — activities that reflect his appreciation for artistry and family connection.
Throughout his career and personal life, Mr. LeBlanc has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, adventure and civic engagement — qualities that continue to define his legacy today. Though he has been enjoying the retired life for over a decade, he remains passionate about contributing to the Fall River community and beyond through everything he does.
