Mr. Revels stands as the third generation to lead Revels Funeral Home, a family legacy established in 1956 by his grandfather, Juddie Revels Sr., and later continued by his father. With 37 years of professional experience, Mr. Revels serves as the owner of Revels Funeral Home, overseeing operations at two locations in Fernbrook and Lumberton, North Carolina. Under his leadership, the business conducts approximately 500 services annually and employs a dedicated team of 15 staff members. Among his most significant achievements, Mr. Revels is particularly proud of guiding a team that includes his wife as channel director, alongside five general directors and four embalmers, each with over 15 years of tenure at the business.

In addition to his primary role, Mr. Revels has expanded his entrepreneurial reach across several ventures. Since 2018, he has owned Revels Transport, further diversifying the family's business interests. He has also managed Revels Rentals since 1988, providing rental services that complement his other enterprises. His stewardship extends to Lumbee Baltimore Gardens and Gardner Faith Cemetery, where he continues to uphold high standards of service and community engagement.

Mr. Revels' educational background includes an associate degree in general directing from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He also completed coursework at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The foundation provided by these academic experiences has contributed significantly to his ability to manage complex operations and lead multiple business entities successfully.

Throughout his career, Mr. Revels has received numerous accolades, recognizing both personal achievement and organizational excellence. These honors include the Raiders Choice Award from Robinson County in 2021 and 2024, the Economic Advancement Award from the Lumbee Indians in 2020, and an award from the Town of Pembroke in 2020. Additionally, Revels Funeral Home was named among the Readers' Choice 2024 Winners.

Mr. Revels attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family throughout his career journey. Inspired by the example set by previous generations, he began working in the family business at age 15 and has remained committed to its growth and reputation ever since.

Outside his professional responsibilities, Mr. Revels enjoys participating in fishing tournaments and riding motorcycles with his wife, Gina. They have been married for over 40 years and have three daughters. Looking ahead, Mr. Revels plans to relocate the current funeral home location, integrate it with his rental business and lease out the existing building. He also aspires to expand his real estate holdings to reach a total of 100 apartments.
