His role involved overseeing technology operations, building and maintaining customer-facing applications, driving innovation and facilitating communication between departments to address budget impacts and financial responsibilities.

In addition to his influential role at Disney, Mr. Albers was the senior vice president and chief technology officer at MusicNet where he led the technology and services functions that helped launch music services for companies like Yahoo, MTV and Microsoft. Mr. Albers also served as the senior vice president and chief technology officer at Drugstore.com. Previously, he excelled as a senior vice president and chief technology officer at Getty Images. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a powerhouse in the stock and news photography industry by integrating 30+ acquisitions into the public company, building the platform that allowed the company to shift from a history of annual losses to one that generating substantial profitability and significant positive cash flow.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Albers was the vice president of products, services and technology for Ameritech's e-commerce division. Mr. Albers's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in computer science from McKendree University, earned in 1986, where he has subsequently been named to the school's Academy of Excellence.
