Before joining Newmark, Ms. Wakley held several key positions at Transwestern for approximately 15 years. She began as a senior marketing manager for national industrial marketing from 2014 to 2025, leading marketing initiatives that supported business development and broker engagement on a national scale. Between 2022 and 2025, Ms. Wakley served as the regional office and admin manager for national industrial marketing, where she managed office operations and administrative functions across multiple locations.

Earlier in her tenure, Ms. Wakley worked as a graphic designer for Intercounty Mortgage Network Corporation from 2005 to 2010, followed by Transwestern until 2011, and then for Designs for Health Inc. between 2012 and 2014. While employed by Transwestern, she successfully managed three major office relocations within a single year in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Each project was executed seamlessly, on schedule and with minimal disruption to business operations. Her leadership, organizational precision and ability to coordinate across multiple teams ensured every detail was managed flawlessly, making this series of relocations a significant professional milestone. Before her work in graphic design, Ms. Wakley began her professional journey as a processor at Allstate Mortgage Company from 2003 to 2005.

A graduate of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Ms. Wakley received a Bachelor of Applied Arts in graphic design with an emphasis in advertising in 2000. This educational background provided her with the creative problem-solving abilities that have been instrumental throughout her career.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Wakley is civically engaged as a supporter and volunteer for suicide prevention initiatives, as well as a donor and supporter of UNICEF.
