Prior to founding The Fitting Academy, Williams established Fitting Pieces Behavioral Services LLC in 2018, where she continues to serve as the owner and lead therapist. Her work in this capacity involves maintaining strong relationships with local businesses to foster community integration and push staff to engage meaningfully with students. Additionally, she organizes community cleanup initiatives and care packages to the unhoused, further demonstrating dedication to community support.

Williams' career began at the Emory Autism Center within the School of Medicine at Emory University. From 2018 to 2019, she worked as a certified behavior interventionist III, where she honed her skills in applied behavior analysis. Before this role, she served as a clinical coordinator from 2015 to 2017, where she gained valuable experience in coordinating clinical services for individuals with autism.

Her academic journey laid a solid foundation for her professional achievements. Williams earned a master's degree in education with a focus on applied behavior analysis from Arizona State University in 2017. She also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Emory University, which she completed in 2011. Her education was instrumental in shaping her understanding of child psychology and early childhood education, guiding her toward a career in education.

Williams is also recognized for contributions beyond her professional roles. She is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children and collaborates with other schools to determine transition options and share best practices for supporting students effectively. In honor of her efforts, she received the 2025 School of Choice award by the Harris-Gude Foundation. In 2024, Williams was inducted into Emory University's 40 Under 40 by Advancement and Alumni Engagement.

Through her unwavering dedication and innovative approach, Williams has accomplished that which many assumed unattainable. Her greatest reward lies in witnessing students' progress despite challenges, assuring families that The Fitting Academy is truly a place "where every child fits."

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Williams is enthusiastic about traveling, music, and spending time with friends and family. After all, so many of them are the reason she's accomplished all that she has. She married her college love on September 13, 2024.

Looking ahead, she aims to expand The Fitting Academy's reach while maintaining its core mission of supporting children and families with the highest quality of care imaginable. Her vision includes enhancing extracurricular activities such as sports, engineering, STEAM and social programs, ensuring that the academy continues to provide meaningful engagement for its students year-round. When asked what she considered the most important take away was, her response: "Inclusion is not optional, it is necessary. If not for the kids, who for?"
