Before his current role, Mr. Sayeed was a Senior Principal Cyber Engineer at Raytheon Technologies from 2004 to 2020, where he contributed to high-visibility and high-impact cybersecurity projects. His dedication and ability to tackle new challenges led to securing multiple overseas assignments, ultimately relocating his family to the United Kingdom and to the Middle East to deliver public sector Cybersecurity focused capabilities for nation-state level clients.

Mr. Sayeed's career began in 2003 as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University (2004–2006), teaching Digital System Design. Earlier roles include Hardware Design Engineer at Apple (2001–2002) and Failure Analysis Engineer at Micron Technology (1999–2001).

Mr. Sayeed holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), graduating with honors in 2003. He has earned relevant industry certifications including Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Fundamentals, Certified Information Systems Security (CISSP), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), which have been key to advancing his career and technical expertise. His contributions have earned him recognition, including a 2024 Hero Nominee award from Microsoft, Intelligence Community Commendations, and the Director's Citation Award.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Sayeed is actively involved in civic organizations, volunteering at local shelters and donating to marginalized communities and disaster relief efforts.

In his personal life, Mr. Sayeed values spending quality time with his family, traveling and maintaining an active lifestyle through sports, running and strength training. He also loves supporting his daughter's martial arts pursuits and his son's passion for soccer.
