NEW YORK, NY, October 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Layal Hamdeh has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With over a decade of experience in global media and storytelling, Layal Hamdeh has built a distinguished career as an Arab American content creator dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding and empathy between the United States and the Middle East. Since 2022, she has served as a leading storyteller at blinx, a pioneering media platform redefining digital video content across politics, fashion, sports, and entertainment. In her role, she produces and presents current affairs and human-interest stories in English, filming both in studio and on location. From initial scriptwriting to on-camera presentation and final production, she oversees every stage of the creative process, crafting short and long-form videos that are visually compelling, emotionally resonant, and globally relevant. Her work, distributed across major digital platforms and blinx's own smart TV app, continues to reach and inspire audiences worldwide.

Layal Hamdeh's career is marked by several distinguished achievements that highlight her talent and creative impact. Her viral video story about her grandmother, a survivor of multiple wars, resonated deeply with audiences worldwide and garnered millions of views. Her short film "Small Town Girls" earned her the Best Acting Performance Award from the Chicago Feedback Film Festival, and her innovative explainer "AI Threatens Humanity" utilized extended reality to examine the risks of artificial intelligence. In 2025, she received the Excellence in Media Award for Best Content Creator from Gulf News, a testament to her influence and excellence in dynamic storytelling.

Layal's media journey began in New York City, where she spent over eight years building her career in storytelling. She worked as a video journalist at CBS Television Network, contributing to the coverage of major events, including the 2016 U.S. presidential elections. During this time, she also gained valuable international experience through formative internships, serving as a digital editorial intern at the United Nations, where she contributed to humanitarian storytelling efforts inspired in part by her twin sister, Lana Hamdeh, who currently works at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. She later honed her craft at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Worldwide in Manhattan, further strengthening her foundation in international media.

In addition to her media career, Layal ventured into entrepreneurship as the founder of Medialay Agency, a New York–registered boutique firm specializing in branded content and social media production for international lifestyle brands. Medialay has collaborated with renowned brands such as Chicco, helping them build a strong and authentic digital presence.

Dedicated to expanding her network and empowering others in the field, Layal is an active member of Women in Film, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Online News Association, and the International Documentary Association. Committed to giving back, she also supports animal welfare initiatives, including Stray Cats Rescue.

Much of Layal's success is rooted in her strong academic foundation. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication and media studies from Marymount University, located in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., graduating cum laude with honors. She later pursued graduate coursework at New York University, where she took Master of Fine Arts classes in film, video, and on-camera acting, further refining her creative and performance expertise.

After receiving multiple recognitions and awards for excellence in storytelling, Layal Hamdeh reflects on her journey with gratitude and purpose. She credits her success to creativity, consistency, and clear communication—principles she applies to every project. Looking ahead, she aspires to create international films and video content that inspire action and bridge cross-cultural understanding, leaving a lasting impact on audiences worldwide.
