Her responsibilities include overseeing sales communications, supporting business and executive communications for the chief revenue officer, developing strategies to ensure alignment with the company's broader vision and goals and managing teams to enhance organizational and seller effectiveness. Ms. O'Callaghan is recognized for her ability to connect people, drive initiatives and communicate effectively with sellers using an executive voice.

Before this role, from 2019 to 2022, Ms. O'Callaghan served as an executive communications manager at Pure Storage, Inc., where she was instrumental in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, a testament to her reputation as a "Jill of all trades" and "Swiss Army knife." She thrived in this dynamic environment by leading executive communications for the previous chief revenue officer, Dominic Delfino, chief customer experience officer, Joe Pinto, and the chief operating officer, Paul Mountford. Her work included managing all internal and external communications, employee and program communications, board presentations and thought leadership for these executives.

Her earlier career includes a distinguished 13-year period at Cisco Systems, Inc., beginning in 2005. Initially joining as a project manager for channel online events, she managed webcasts and various projects before transitioning into various communications roles. Between 2005 and 2011, she served as executive communications manager for corporate quality and manufacturing, later advancing to executive communications manager for the Service Provider Technology Group and Cisco Technical Services. During her tenure at Cisco Systems, Inc., Ms. O'Callaghan established several innovative programs, including an innovation award program within the engineering team. She played a key role in transformational projects across various departments, such as marketing, corporate quality, supply chain service provider, routing group, engineering, and customer technical services.

Before entering the technology sector, Ms. O'Callaghan worked in sports media relations with the San Jose Sharks from 2003 to 2008, serving as both a media relations assistant and photo assistant/liason for Getty Images. She continued her association with the organization as part of the media relations game night staff until 2019. In these roles, she acted as a liaison between teams, players and media representatives while drafting press releases and supporting game-day operations. Her tenure coincided with the San Jose Sharks winning the Dick Gilman Award for excellence in media for eight consecutive years, a milestone that stands among her proudest achievements.

Ms. O'Callaghan's professional journey began even earlier as an outside sales representative with Southern Wine and Spirits (now Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits) from 1998 to 1999.
Her commitment to professional development is reflected in her academic background. Ms. O'Callaghan earned a Bachelor of Science in public relations with a minor in sociology from San José State University in San Jose in 2001. She remains actively involved with her alma mater through membership in the San José State University Alumni Association.

Ms. O'Callaghan has also pursued additional certifications to enhance her expertise, including lean waste eliminator certification from Pure Storage, Inc. in 2023 and Pure Storage yellow belt certification from Pure Storage, Inc. in 2023.

Throughout her career, Ms. O'Callaghan has credited her success to building a strong network and community, surrounding herself with supportive individuals who have contributed to her ongoing growth and achievements.

Her dedication extends beyond her professional responsibilities into civic engagement and philanthropy. Since 2018, she has volunteered as a fundraiser for Cops Care Cancer Foundation; since 2016, she has donated to Valley Monte League Inc.; since 2012, she has volunteered with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley; and from 2016 to 2019, she volunteered with Services for Brain Injury. Currently, she serves as president of Women@Pure at Pure Storage, Inc., supports Susan G. Komen, volunteers with the Pure Good Foundation at Pure Storage, Inc., and supports the Women Back to Work program. Additionally, she donates clothing and sundries to InnVision the Way Home.

Industry peers have recognized Ms. O'Callaghan's leadership. She was named among the Top 50 Chiefs of Staff by Women We Admire in 2025.

Born in San Jose, Ms. O'Callaghan enjoys riding horses—she owns three—taking photographs and engaging in community work during her personal time. Raised by a single father who was a prominent radio and television personality in the Bay Area, she attributes much of her strong work ethic to his influence.
