Mr. Cully has established a distinguished career in music and education, earning recognition as an expert in both fields. Since 1995, he has served as chief executive officer of RTC Enterprises, where he has dedicated three decades to advancing musical instruction and performance. Before his tenure at RTC Enterprises, Mr. Cully founded the Dick Cully Orchestra in 1982. He led this renowned 15-piece ensemble for over 25 years, guiding it through performances on cruise ships and collaborations with celebrated artists, including Florence Henderson and Mel Tormé, Toni Tennille, Sandy Duncan, Frank Gorshin, Ray Anthony, Buddy Morrow, Nanette Fabray, Les Elgart, noted big band singer Connie Haines, pop star Bobby Rydell, TV personality Dennis James, and comedians Foster Brooks and George Kirby. In 1989, the Dick Cully Big Band was chosen as "One of the best bands in the nation" by Down Beat magazine, the undisputed musical authority, and has been featured numerous times on the Black Entertainment Network's "Jazz Discovery" television program.

Mr. Cully's fans included numerous great drummers such as Joe Morello, Louie Bellson, Vic Firth, Anton Fig, Butch Miles, Roy Burns, Dennis Chambers, Ellis Tollin, Stanley Kay, Dom Famularo, Herb Brochstein, Al Miller, Jim Chapin, Donny Osborne Jr., Ronnie Benedict, Harry Cangany Jr., and Ed Shaughnessy. Percussion manufacturers, including Stingray, Zildjian, Remo Percussion Products, Vic Firth Drumsticks, as well as the National Drum Association and the International Buddy Rich Fan Club, have applauded his talent. Mr. Cully is a recognized teacher and clinician and the author of "Secrets of the World's Greatest Drummer" and "More Secrets of the World's Greatest Drummer," which are in-depth analyses of the late Buddy Rich.

The orchestra gained recognition for its dynamic jazz and swing performances, making a significant contribution to the preservation and appreciation of American music traditions. Mr. Cully's work with the orchestra not only showcased his exceptional drumming skills but also provided opportunities for young musicians to launch their careers, many of whom have gone on to achieve notable success in the industry. In addition to his leadership roles, Mr. Cully has enjoyed a prolific career as a professional drummer. He is widely regarded as one of the finest drummers in the country, with ProMark, a prominent drumstick company based in Texas, recognizing his talent and artistry. He was also an endorser of Slingerland drums and Remo drum heads, further cementing his status among the world's greatest drummers. His technical expertise and innovative approach have set him apart in the field, earning him comparisons to legendary percussionists.

Mr. Cully's educational background includes coursework in percussion at Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. This academic foundation provided him with advanced technical skills and a deep understanding of musical theory, which have been instrumental in his professional achievements. He attributes much of his success to the support he received from media personnel and writers who offered valuable publicity throughout his career. Additionally, Mr. Cully credits his parentsfor nurturing his passionfor music from an early age; music was ever-present in their home,rom an early age; music was ever-present in their home, and he received his first drum set at just 15 months old.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Cully has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement and music education. He established the International Big Band Jazz Cafe Society as a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving jazz within American music culture. Through this society, he organized concerts in high schools aimed at teaching American history through music, a mission that reflects his belief in the transformative power of musical education. His efforts have included video presentations featuring orchestras performing on stage, reaching thousands of viewers and inspiring new generations.

Mr. Cully's creative output extends to other platforms as well. He has personally taught thousands drumming techniques and musical concepts to students at various levels. Additionally, he has produced over 300 videos documenting orchestra performances in jazz and swing genres, all of which are available on his YouTube channel. These resources have broadened access to quality music education and preserved important aspects of America's musical heritage.

Among his proudest accomplishments is the development of the Reboot America Musically methodology (RAM). Mr. Cully envisions this program being presented at the highest levels of government, recorded for public broadcasting and distributed nationwide with the goal of integrating it into school curricula across the United States. Through RAM, he aims to educate younger generations about American history, utilizing music as a powerful teaching tool.

Mr. Cully was born in Manhattan and remains deeply committed to inspiring others through music.
