Mr. Galombeck has established a distinguished career in the music industry, marked by more than five decades of expertise spanning live performance, music education, and music business. Since 2009, he has served as the vice president, talent buyer and consultant at Houston Productions, Kell Houston, President and Owner, where his daily responsibilities include managing a high volume of communications from agents, casinos and artists nationwide. He prepares and reviews contracts, and guides clients through the process of organizing successful events. His hands-on approach extends to on-site concert support, ensuring seamless execution for both artists and venues.

Alongside his role as a Casino talent buyer, Mr. Galombeck has also been a College talent buyer in Minnesota, and as a Festival talent buyer, Bob has worked with several Minnesota communities and events for several years including Ramble Jam, Pierz Freedom Fest, Corcoran Country Daze, New Ulm's Bavarian Blast, Edgerton's 75-year Dutch Festival Anniversary, Midsummer Blast, and Vicki's Camp N Country Jam. He has brought a wealth of artists from Nashville up to these communities to perform since 2010.

In addition to these positions, Mr. Galombeck's entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his founding of Hot Hits Music Group LLC in 2006, Hot Hits Orchestra in 2012, and Special Event Entertainment Services in 2018. He has demonstrated his enduring commitment to live performance as a freelance bassist since 1970, which has included collaborations with renowned artists such as Isaac Hayes, Gordon Lightfoot, Peter Nero, and many others. Throughout his career, he has performed with various popular musical groups across the United States, worked as a session musician in numerous studios, and engaged in many other live musical performance endeavors in various genres and configurations.

Between 1989 and 1994, he was instrumental in shaping the music performance and education program at Music Tech of Minneapolis, a post-secondary school of music. In this capacity, he developed curriculum and outreach programs while heading the Bass, Music Business and the Ensemble departments. He wrote the Music Business program approved by the State of Minnesota. He also served on the Minnesota Music Academy board of directors during this period of time. And from 1994 to 2009, Mr. Galombeck was the general manager and controller at Good Music Agency, then the largest booking agency in the Midwest during an era when Top 40 bands were prominent in clubs and hotels nationwide.

Laying a strong foundation for Mr. Galombeck's achievements was his educational background, which began with an associate of arts in music from Muskegon Community College in 1972. He subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in music education from Ball State University, followed by a master's degree in music performance from the same institution. His academic pursuits were driven by early exposure to music under the guidance of his parents where he learned several instruments, and from the strong influence of his High School choir director, Larry Gray, where he refined many aspects of his vocal abilities. And in 1976-1977 he conducted and directed the East Central Indiana Youth Symphony, influencing many young musicians and earning statewide recognition for his outstanding contributions to music education.

Mr. Galombeck's professional journey began with formative experiences performing guitar and bass during the 1960s before traveling to Great Britain at age 18 to play in a pop combo and sing at the International Choir Festival in Wales. This period included an appearance on BBC TV with the choir — a significant launching pad for his career.

Throughout his musical endeavors, Mr. Galombeck has been recognized with several awards, including the 1977 Public Relations Award in Music, Best Bassist Award at a Five State Jazz Competition and acknowledgment from POW/MIA Minnesota for contributing as a musician to their cause. He is also a member of the International Entertainment Buyers Association, highlighting his standing among industry professionals. And in early 2025 he was elected to the Minnesota Music History Channel's Hall of Fame 'Legends' series. He continues to stay in touch in this area on a regular basis with Neal Bond, founder and writer, and Gwen Matthews, world renowned vocalist, with their Ghost, Gangsters, Heroes, and Legends music and video documentary efforts.

Reflecting on his journey, Mr. Galombeck attributes his success to positivity, dedication and hard work, and a genuine passion for helping others — qualities that have defined his enduring impact on the American music industry for over 55 years. Looking ahead, he intends to continue expanding his professional network while assisting artists with exposure opportunities and supporting casino clients with exceptional service. He also plans to guide new startup festivals through every stage of development as requested and plans to travel across the country to attend concerts at venues he has not been in the past.
