Ms. Snyder has established herself as a leader in nonprofit management, philanthropy, and community engagement, with a particular focus on organizations that support veterans, military families, and first responders. She currently serves as Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Engagement in the scientific research space, where she has served since 2024. In this capacity, Ms. Snyder works closely with government representatives, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations globally and nationwide to secure critical funding and strategic partnerships that advance the organizational research, conservation, and education initiatives. In her role, she leads development strategy, donor engagement, and communications efforts while overseeing fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and high-profile events that strengthen organizational visibility and impact. Ms. Snyder also manages marketing, public relations, and collaborative outreach to support long-term sustainability and mission growth.
Additionally, Ms. Snyder oversees marketing and social media strategy support for Sound Off, a nonprofit organization revolutionizing the way veterans and first responders seek and receive mental health care. Ms. Snyder also serves as a strategic consultant for the Southern Indian Health Council (SIHC), where she leads integrated marketing, development, and campaign initiatives that amplify the organization's mission to advance health equity and wellness in Native communities. She directs high-profile events and campaigns while developing comprehensive outreach and sponsorship strategies that strengthen donor relations and elevate brand visibility. Through her leadership, SIHC has expanded its community engagement, enhanced public awareness, and built sustainable partnerships that drive long-term impact across Southern California.
Between 2022 and 2024, Ms. Snyder served as Marketing and Fundraising Director for the Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation, leading campaigns that significantly increased visibility and donor support for programs benefiting wounded service members and their families. Her expertise in fundraising and donor relations was honed during her tenure as an Emergency Financial Assistance Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project (2021–2022) and as a Stewardship and Finance Specialist at the Jewish Federation & Foundation of Northeast Florida (2020). Her commitment to military families was further demonstrated during her time as Director at the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (2018–2020) and as a Program Assistant for CNIC Navy Fleet and Family Support Center in 2018. Earlier in her career, Ms. Snyder held leadership roles with the U.S. Department of Defense's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Division and the YMCA of Snohomish County, serving as an Aquatics Director. She began her career with Douglas County Parks and Recreation and Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department in 2008, working full-time while completing her undergraduate degree.
Ms. Snyder earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of West Georgia in 2015. She holds multiple certifications from the in CPR, first aid, and aquatic safety, as well as lifeguard and instructor credentials from the American Red Cross and an Aquatic Facility Operator certification from the National Recreation and Park Association. An active member of several professional organizations, Ms. Snyder joined CHIEF, a private network for executive women, in 2025. She is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) San Diego Chapter and the Grant Professionals Association of California.
Community and civic engagement remain central to Ms. Snyder's life. While living abroad, she founded a chapter of Stroller Warriors in Rota, Spain, and presided over the USS CARNEY DDG 64 Family Readiness Group. Ms. Snyder is also an active member of the Rotary Club of La Jolla, where she serves on the board as the Community Service Chair.
