Earning recognition for her leadership expertise and unwavering commitment to her family and communities well-being, Ms. Dietz-Lee has led a distinguished career dedicated to serving vulnerable populations. In 2024, she assumed the role of executive director at Meals for the Elderly in San Angelo, Texas, where she oversees daily operations, manages a staff of 17 dedicated workers and ensures that nutritious meals are delivered to seniors and homebound individuals. Her responsibilities also include grant writing, networking, and preparing for the future through innovation and vision that algins with the mission of Meals For The Elderly, empowering individuals of our community to maintain autonomy within the comfort of their homes by delivering nourishing meals, coordinating services, and providing personal interaction, since 1974.

Prior to focusing solely on her current position, Ms. Dietz-Lee served as the director of operations and principal at Bright Horizons from 2022 to 2025 where she was recognized with an Award of Excellence serving with "HEART" in 2023. This regional award acknowledges that Dietz-Lee's wavering commitment to excellence in education ensures children are ready to enter kindergarten. During her tenure, she worked with families to prepare their children and managed educational programs that helped teachers advance their career paths while they gained hands on experience. Equally dedicated to fostering inclusive environments for both staff and students, she contributed to the development of strategies that granted growth and success of the institution.

For two decades, Ms. Dietz-Lee held the position of director of community outreach, marketing and special programs at La Esperanza Clinic in Texas. Her work focused on supporting programming that helped close gaps, particularly for pregnant and parenting youth. One of her most meaningful achievements during this period was witnessing young individuals graduate and have healthy babies after receiving critical support and resources. A particularly memorable moment came when a young woman she mentored went on to earn a degree in social work, later expressing that Ms. Dietz-Lee had seen potential in her when others had not — a testament to her dedication to empowering those in need. During this time in her career worked along side of United Way of the Concho Valley, San Angelo Independent School District, P-16 Chamber of Commerce, all initiatives with like missions to increase positive outcomes in kindergarten readiness and increase healthcare for all.

At the start of her career, Ms. Dietz-Lee devoted 15 years to Head Start/Early Head Start programs as a teacher and later became a family service specialist working with families, where she championed the field of early childhood education. Her efforts laid a strong foundation for working with countless families and their children, helping them access services and opportunities for both academic and personal growth. Having accrued decades of experience, she is recognized as an expert in best practices for serving vulnerable populations — a distinction reflected in her active memberships with Meals on Wheels and the North Texas Community Health Workers Institute.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Dietz-Lee earned a Spanish degree in the ministry from Dallas Baptist University in 1998. Recently, attended Rasmussen University where she earned A and B honor roll Spring and fall 2023 and in Spring of 2024 Deans list.

Dedicated to the ideals of continuous learning, Ms. Dietz-Lee holds a community health worker license, and a community health worker instructor license both from the State of Texas. These qualifications have enabled her to understand people's needs deeply and provide transformative support — an approach she attributes as central to her success. Her inspiration for entering the profession stems from the personal experience of caring for her grandmother's health needs, which fostered a passion for ensuring senior adults receive proper nutrition and support.

Beyond her professional roles, Ms. Dietz-Lee was a volunteer Director of Children's church for 12 years and a supporter for child initiatives that strengthen children and families making a lasting impact on communities. She also served as a board member for both the North Texas Legal Aid and the Homeless Coalition, further demonstrating her dedication to helping those in need.

Ms. Dietz-Lee has also contributed creatively through projects such as Safe Kids San Angelo, Children's Advocacy Center, Community Action Agency, Christian Women's Job Core. Her professional and civic dedication saw her and she was honored by the, San Angelo Hispanic Heritage Museum and Cultural Center in 2022 — a reflection of her outstanding impact within the local community.

Born in San Angelo, Ms. Dietz-Lee values her family life-married 30 years and a mother of two sons and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and adheres to the belief that even the smallest act of kindness can make a positive difference in someone else's life.
