MIAMI, FL, October 22, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jose E. Garcia has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Garcia has established a distinguished career in the construction and property management industry, demonstrating expertise in construction project management, property management and real estate across the region from West Palm Beach to Miami-Dade County. His professional journey is marked by a steady progression through increasingly responsible roles, reflecting his commitment to excellence and his ability to deliver results in complex environments.
In 2022, Mr. Garcia advanced to the position of senior regional construction manager at Link Logistics. In this capacity, he oversees budgeting for prospective tenants interested in leasing properties, manages ongoing projects, supervises teams, awards contracts and collaborates closely with the asset management team to ensure successful project delivery. His leadership was instrumental in managing $15 million in beautification projects for the MICC portfolio, which included exterior painting and asphalt parking lot repairs for 49 assets in Doral, Florida. This achievement earned him the Construction Project of the Year award from Link Logistics, a testament to his project management acumen and dedication.
Mr. Garcia has also held concurrent roles as associate project manager and regional construction manager at Link Logistics since 2021. In these positions, he is responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all aspects of construction and renovation meet the company's high standards for quality and efficiency.
Prior to joining Link Logistics, Mr. Garcia served as lead operating engineer at Cushman & Wakefield from 2018 to 2021. In this role within the tech engineering services division, he was one of the lead roving engineers responsible for day-to-day mechanical maintenance, repairs and property inspections across South Florida and nationwide. His technical expertise contributed significantly to maintaining operational excellence for clients managed by this third-party property management firm.
From 2010 to 2021, Mr. Garcia worked as lead building engineer at CBRE, another prominent third-party management company. He played a key role in ensuring the functionality and safety of commercial properties under his care, further honing his skills in building systems and property oversight.
Mr. Garcia's introduction to property management began at Prologis, where he started as a maintenance technician. This foundational experience provided him with hands-on knowledge of building operations and introduced him to the commercial construction sector.
His early career was shaped at Chandler Contractors prior to 2009, where he began as a day laborer at age 19. Through dedication and hard work, Mr. Garcia advanced to superintendent and ultimately general superintendent. His responsibilities spanned residential construction and light retail commercial projects, encompassing tasks from sweeping floors to changing electrical outlets, constructing walls, installing shingles and performing structural repairs.
Throughout his career, Mr. Garcia has demonstrated a remarkable ability to adapt and excel in diverse roles within the industry. His comprehensive understanding of both fieldwork and project management has positioned him as an expert in his field.
Mr. Garcia's educational background includes earning a General Educational Development diploma. He has further enhanced his professional qualifications by obtaining an HVAC certification, an electrical certification and a fire sprinkler certification. These credentials have been instrumental in supporting his technical proficiency and enabling him to take on complex engineering challenges throughout his career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Garcia is actively involved in civic activities through volunteer work at his local church and community venues. He has contributed as security personnel as well as providing construction labor services such as fixing light poles, painting and hanging drywall—demonstrating a commitment to giving back to his community.
Outside of work, Mr. Garcia values family deeply. He enjoys spending time with loved ones, watching movies with his daughter, cooking together, engaging in home and mechanical repairs with his son—including taking apart and reassembling a Jeep Wrangler—and barbecuing in the backyard with family members. He takes great pride in his children's accomplishments: his son is pursuing studies in mechanical engineering at Anderson University while his daughter has been accepted to the Culinary Institute of America in Upstate New York.
Looking ahead, Mr. Garcia envisions himself continuing his career at Link Logistics with aspirations toward becoming vice president of construction—a role that aligns with his admiration for the company's supportive culture and commitment to employee well-being.
