LAKE ELSINORE, CA, October 24, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sasha G. Aleksic has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Currently serving as the senior market development manager for single-use technology at FUJIFILM Biosciences, Ms. Aleksic is a prominent figure in biopharmaceuticals and life sciences. In this capacity, she is responsible for creating strategies for the company's single-use technology portfolio, collaborating with third parties on promotional initiatives, developing collateral and webinars with internal teams, and working closely with research and development teams to craft promotional materials. An expert in strategy for increasing innovation, portfolio and revenues, she also engages with key opinion leaders and recruits them as scientific advisors while maintaining close coordination with the sales team.

Prior to reaching her current position at FUJIFILM, Ms. Aleksic was the senior market development manager for cell and gene therapy in 2025 and held the role of head of marketing in a similar area at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific from 2019 to 2025. During this time, she successfully spearheaded a global marketing team for the company's cell and gene therapy portfolio. Under her leadership, the team achieved double-digit year-over-year growth through integrated campaigns, product launches and key opinion leader engagement. She played a pivotal role in driving the positioning and adoption of flagship products from the PRIME-XV portfolio and built high-impact partnerships with universities, translational hubs and industry collaborators to expand the impact of the cell and gene therapy portfolio.

From 2017 to 2019, Ms. Aleksic served as a senior global product manager of cell therapy at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific. Throughout her tenure, she led cross-functional teams in launching the Oceo Rover automated hydration system for media and buffer preparation — the first on-market hydration system for large-scale media and buffer production. Her tireless efforts set a new standard for operational efficiency in bioprocessing.

Ms. Aleksic's earlier experience includes serving as a global product manager at MilliporeSigma from 2014 to 2017, during which she managed product portfolios, maintained cross-functional relationships and contributed to strategic growth initiatives. From 2004 to 2014, she was the manager of process development projects, where she oversaw complex projects that advanced the company's capabilities and providing marketing advice on inventory and pricing.

In addition to her corporate roles, Ms. Aleksic has been actively involved with the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy since 2018, contributing to both its process and product committee and commercialization committee through 2025. Her membership in this leading industry organization reflects her steadfast commitment to advancing standards and best practices within the life sciences.

Though her career counts many milestones, Ms. Alekic's is especially proud of leading the launch of a groundbreaking cell and gene therapy product that became the first on the market for chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR T) therapy. She also spearheaded the development of the first chemically defined medium specifically designed for natural killer (NK) cell cultures — an entirely vegan formulation, free of animal components — which has set a new benchmark in cell culture media innovation. These accomplishments have positioned her as an industry leader who is dedicated to expediting processes within the antibody sector, ultimately enabling the faster delivery of lifesaving therapies to patients.

Before venturing onto her professional scientific path, Ms. Aleksic earned a Master of Science in chemistry from Wayne State University in 2004 and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Belgrade in Serbia in 1999. Her educational foundation has provided her with a robust understanding of both scientific principles and engineering applications essential to her work in biopharmaceuticals.

To augment her marketing knowledge and leadership qualifications, Ms. Aleksic was certified as a project management professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute in 2013 and earned green belt certification from Merck Millipore in 2009. Furthermore, she completed a course in middle management through Echelon Front as well as the pragmatic marketing course at the Pragmatic Institute.

Ms. Aleksic's outstanding leadership and contributions to the life sciences have seen her recognized by her industry peers. She was honored with the Integrity Spirit Award from Fujifilm Bioscience Integrity Spirit World, given for excellence in market-driven product innovation.

Reflecting on her storied journey thus far, Ms. Aleksic attributes her success to working in diverse environments throughout her career at respected companies around the world. Collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds has enriched her perspective on problem solving and project execution while fostering adaptability — a quality that has proven invaluable throughout her career. She is also immensely grateful for the love, wisdom and unwavering support of her parents, who encouraged her to follow her dreams and show resilience while remaining grounded in humility.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Aleksic is dedicated to civic engagement within her community. She volunteers at an Orthodox church preparing meals for events that support cultural introduction of Serbian heritage, organizes fundraising events, community health fairs and awareness walks or hikes, and assists elderly citizens with shopping while coordinating social gatherings.

In her personal life, Ms. Aleksic enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, spending time outdoors and being with her family as a balance to her professional responsibilities. Looking to the future, she intends to continue advancing within the health industry — an area she believes is central to future health care solutions — and is particularly interested in how individuals can harness their own bodies and cells for healing while furthering her expertise in commercial innovation within this dynamic field.
