FRIENDSVILLE, TN, October 24, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chris Bryant has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Bryant has distinguished himself as the founder of the Rocky Top Veterans Foundation, a role he has held since 2020. Through this organization, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to eliminating the isolation and seclusion often experienced by veterans. Under his leadership, the foundation has prioritized bringing veterans into the community and fostering inclusion. One of Mr. Bryant's primary initiatives is the suicide prevention network, which offers free suicide prevention classes to both veterans and the broader community. These sessions, typically held monthly, not only educate participants but also certify them in crisis intervention and referral to appropriate resources. Mr. Bryant has further extended the foundation's reach by collaborating with business owners, managers and employees throughout East Tennessee, certifying their establishments as veteran-safe spaces.

In addition to his work with the foundation, Mr. Bryant operates a police academy where he trains officers during their in-service training and provides additional classes to the community. He is recognized for his expertise in connecting with veterans, a skill that has become a hallmark of his career. Mr. Bryant's dedication is evident in his ongoing efforts to follow up with veterans and conduct regular check-ups to ensure they receive necessary care.

Before founding the Rocky Top Veterans Foundation, Mr. Bryant served as a training director in law enforcement for 24 years. His career in law enforcement began in a jail, where he worked diligently and earned successive promotions. His most notable achievement in this field has been attaining his current position, which enables him to interact with and teach others —a role he values deeply.

Mr. Bryant's professional journey also includes distinguished military service. He has served in the Army National Guard since 2022 and previously served in the United States Marine Corps from 1997 to 2001. His military background has informed his approach to veteran outreach and suicide prevention, providing him with unique insights into the challenges faced by service members.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bryant has been featured in numerous newspapers, magazines, news broadcasts and interviews, further amplifying his advocacy for veterans. He is also a board member of the United Veterans Council of East Tennessee and a member of the Marine Corps League, reflecting his ongoing commitment to supporting the veteran community.

Mr. Bryant's educational background includes college coursework, which has contributed to his professional development and success. He attributes much of his achievement to the unwavering support of his family. His decision to establish the Rocky Top Veterans Foundation was driven by a desire to see tangible results from his charitable efforts. After becoming frustrated with the lack of visible impact from his donations to larger organizations, he consulted with his wife and best friend, whose encouragement was instrumental in launching the foundation.

Civically, Mr. Bryant's role as founder of the Rocky Top Veterans Foundation has allowed him to make a significant impact on the lives of veterans and their families. His leadership has set a standard for community engagement and support for those who have served.

Born in Knoxville, Mr. Bryant is devoted to his family, including his three children and grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and fly fishing. Looking ahead, Mr. Bryant's primary goal for the foundation is to expand its suicide prevention initiative, "Fire Team Tennessee." Inspired by military organizational structures, this program aims to train teams to accomplish specific missions in suicide prevention before returning to their communities. As the first organization in Tennessee to implement such a program, Mr. Bryant is dedicated to expanding this model throughout the state.
