Mr. Guidry currently serves as the president of the American Volleyball League, a role he has held since 2023. He oversees league strategy and operations, broadcast partnerships and media rights, ticketing services, season scheduling, the hiring of General Managers and Head Coaches, arena contract negotiations, and market selection. He is also the creator of the Volley Bowl, the league's championship match that is set to resemble the NFL Super Bowl week full of activities, events, concerts, and awards ceremony for the All AVL team. In this capacity, he is responsible for hiring staff, pursuing corporate sponsors and working on broadcasting deals for television rights. His leadership is marked by a commitment to empowering others, particularly women, and leveraging sports as a vehicle for community advancement.

Mr. Guidry's vision for the league includes developing programs such as "Volleying for Life," which pairs women athletes with successful business professionals to mentor young girls in entrepreneurship, mental health and anti-bullying initiatives. Additionally, he established "8 Equity," dedicating a portion of franchise profits to youth initiatives focused on advancements in AI communication technology. Through these efforts, Mr. Guidry aims to inspire creativity and provide opportunities for future generations. With his steadfast desire to uplift humanity these two programs are a centerpiece of his main goals.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Guidry is directly impacting peoples lives as the Sports Performance Coach with NRG volleyball club. Having an ownership stake in this club with a program he created called Boost he contributed significantly to his expertise in organizational management and brand development demonstrating entrepreneurial acumen. In 2010, Mr. Guidry served as the head football coach for the Tampere Saints in Finland. His coaching career is distinguished by international experience, having also coached in Austria and lived in Germany. Among his most notable achievements is winning the national championship in football in 2001 and 2003, two milestones that remains a source of great pride. That same year, he secured a championship with an arena football team in Tennessee Mr. Guidry was also selected to coach with the Seattle Seahawks; although the team did not win a Super Bowl during his tenure, this opportunity underscored his reputation within professional football circles. His next step was to spend 6 NFL training camps, season games, and post season appearances as an assigned coach by Tony Dungy and Jim Caldwell with the Indianapolis Colts.

Mr. Guidry's professional accomplishments have been recognized through features in the Sports Business Journal and by receiving the Coach of the Year award in 2006. He is also a member of the NFL Alumni Association, reflecting his ongoing engagement with industry peers and commitment to advancing the field of athletics.

Mr. Guidry's academic foundation includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in program management and kinesiology from the University of North Texas in Denton in 2000 and an Associates degree from North Lake College 1998. The knowledge gained through his studies has been instrumental throughout his career, equipping him with skills essential for both coaching and executive leadership roles. Mr. Guidry attributes much of his success to the influence of his parents, who provided unwavering support and instilled values such as integrity, respect, and responsibility.

Born in Houston, Mr. Guidry enjoys traveling, planning trips to Europe, exploring diverse cuisines, competing in food competitions, visiting chefs from Bocuse D'Or and the Masterchef in Estonia and discovering new cultures alongside his family Katre and Katarina. He is dedicated to making a significant impact on women's sports – particularly professional volleyball – in America. Mr. Guidry envisions establishing a platform where young girls can aspire to play professionally within their own country rather than seeking opportunities abroad. He intends to expand the American Volleyball League to foster growth and create meaningful opportunities that will inspire future generations both within and beyond the sport.
