BOSTON, MA, October 30, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ruben Terrero has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Currently serving as a regional sales manager at Globe Life American Income Division, a leading life insurance and annuity provider, Mr. Terrero has led a distinguished career in insurance and financial services leadership. In this capacity, he has been pivotal in recruiting and training more than 50 agents, implementing robust coaching and accountability systems that have driven double-digit increases in both production and retention. Along with significant market expansion initiatives such as outreach into Puerto Rico, he has balanced comprehensive training development strategies with a focus on developing emerging leaders within the industry.

In addition to his role at Globe Life American, Mr. Terrero serves as president of New England Construction Group LLC, which he established in 2019. In this entrepreneurial venture, he applies his background in civil engineering and business management to oversee operations, recruitment and strategic growth in the construction sector.

Concurrently, from 2020 to 2023, Mr. Terrero was the general manager of sales at Globe Life American. During this period, he led a team whose weekly production increased from approximately $5,000 to $3 million annually — a more than 1,000% increase — while improving agent retention rates from 60% to 85%. This remarkable achievement was rooted in his commitment to building strong relationships and fostering environments where team members can thrive both professionally and personally. His outstanding achievements at Globe Life seen him recognized multiple times throughout his tenure, including being named General Manager of the Year in 2021 and earning the Rookie of the Year award in 2020.

Mr. Terrero initially joined Globe Life American as a sales and leadership executive in 2020, where he began his tenure by focusing on client acquisition and coaching agents who would later become leaders themselves. Earlier in his career, he served as a commercial manager at Advance Auto Parts from 2016 to 2017, during which he gained valuable experience in sales management and operational oversight.

Before venturing onto his insurance path, Mr. Terrero pursued higher education and earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, completed in 2012. To augment his knowledge and project management skils, he was certified as a Microsoft technology specialist in 2007.

Though he studied civil engineering in college, Mr. Terrero transitioned into insurance and financial services due to his desire to focus on helping others through recruitment, mentorship and team development. The adversity he faced due to lifelong health challenges — including sickle cell disease diagnosed at birth — has profoundly shaped his perspective and resilience. After years of hospitalizations and exploring various treatments between 2014 and 2019, he underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute following rounds of chemotherapy. The recovery process spanned approximately 18 months but enabled him to return to work with renewed determination.

Reflecting on his remarkable journey thus far, Mr. Terrero attributes much of his success to overcoming these personal challenges, which instilled in him a belief that every problem can be resolved with enough determination. This philosophy underpins his approach to leadership and mentorship, emphasizing the importance of adding value to others — a principle inspired by author John Maxwell.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mr. Terrero extends his commitment into civic engagement through community service and youth development. He is actively involved in reading to children at the Roxbury Public Library and participates in the Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) Program — which provides essential support and resources to individuals and families living in poverty — as a volunteer.

Happily married and a proud father of one daughter, Mr. Terrero cherishes spending quality time with his family and maintains an active lifestyle by playing tennis on the weekends.

Looking to the future with optimism, Mr. Terrero aspires to establish his own branch of Globe Life Insurance, expanding into new markets across the United States while providing opportunities for those in need to achieve success through mentorship and leadership development. Long recognized for his desire to help others through everything he does, he remains committed to making a positive impact and inspiring future leaders throughout his industry as well as within his family.
