Since 2023, Mr. Chothani has served as project manager at Technip Energies, where he manages complex engineering projects and leads teams responsible for executing technology projects related to ethylene cracking furnaces, fired heaters, proprietary equipment and licensing. In this capacity, he oversees proprietary technology projects for fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) and refining, spearheads Feed Injector Technology projects, Ripple Trays and Ethylene Cracking Furnaces. His role includes the coordination with program management, business development, engineering, procurement, logistics, accounting, scheduling, cost control, expediting, tendering, document control, risk-management, fabrication, construction and commissioning teams to cover the full hierarchy within the organization. His responsibilities also include providing field assistance technology services and collaborating with instructional coordinators to ensure seamless project execution in the plants at various stages of turn around requirements. Mr. Chothani's ability to build and lead full project teams for Technology-related projects underscores his expertise in project management. Mr. Chothani's work on the ethylene cracking furnace technology has been a fundamental component of the Proprietary Ethylene Technology and Process Design Package. Mr. Chothani has been an essential member of this technology team within the organization and his expertise has been vital for the successful execution of ethylene furnace technology and Process Design Package projects.

Concurrently, Mr. Chothani also serves as a proposal manager and a project engineer at Technip Energies, a role he has held since 2022. In this position, he is instrumental in developing proposals for technology & proprietary equipment supply projects, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with client requirements. His dual roles at Technip Energies with exceptional design & operation experience along with engineering expertise reflect his versatility and depth of knowledge within the organization.

Since 2013, Mr. Chothani has additionally contributed as a Furnace Mechanical Engineering specialist at Technip Energies, formally know as Stone & Webster Process Technology. In this role, he has nurtured in designing, engineering, analysis, optimization and troubleshooting of Ethylene Cracking Furnace systems used in large-scale petrochemical operations for green field and brown field. His work has directly impacted the efficiency and reliability of critical infrastructure within the industry. He has co-conducted Ethylene Furnace School programs on behalf his organization for various clientele around the globe. He has been a key contributor to develop the engineering work instruction and standards for the innovative furnace technology and engineering.

From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Chothani has contributed as a thermal engineer and mechanical engineer at Complete Heat Transfer Solutions - Environ Energy Systems. He has also continued the same role and responsibilities with Utility Power Test company from 2009 to 2010. There, he applied advanced thermal engineering principles to develop heat transfer solutions tailored to client needs, further honing his technical acumen for Fired and Non-Fired heat transfer equipment for Oil & Gas industry, refining world and advanced solar plants.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Chothani esteemed his career with CB&I Lummus / ABB Lummus Heat Transfer as a thermal engineer from 2006 to 2009. During this period, he gained valuable experience in heat transfer technologies that would later inform his innovative contributions to the Process Fired Heater industry. He exposed himself to a various fired and non-fired heat transfer technology, combustion technology and proprietary Ethelene Furnace technology. He has orchestrated engineering of licensed technology of Lummus Heat Transfer in the petrochemical industry. He exposed himself to various chemical plants for study, revamp, troubleshooting, field support and optimization efforts. He began his professional journey as a junior manufacturing engineer at Artech Cooling Towers Private Limited from 2003 to 2004, where he developed foundational skills in manufacturing processes including Six-Sigma, Lean manufacturing, continuous improvements, JIT and quality control.

Among Mr. Chothani's most notable achievements is his pivotal role in developing unique technology for ethylene cracking furnaces that maximized yield and extended run lengths from 30 to 45 and even 60 days without interruptions or decoking requirements. This advancement resulted in increased production and reduced downtime for clients such as Chevron Phillips, ExxonMobil and British Petroleum—demonstrating the significant impact of his work on operational efficiency and profitability within the petrochemical sector.

His academic background includes a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut, earned in 2006. He previously completed a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at the University of Mumbai in Mumbai, India, graduating in 2003.

In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Chothani has received honors from John Zink, Clarage Fans, Duraloy Technologies and number of clientele. His expertise is further recognized through his membership in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, reflecting his commitment to professional development and industry standards. Mr. Chothani has also been recognized for his reputation in his field by various industry leaders across the globe.

The foundation for Mr. Chothani's success was laid early through strong family influences—many family members including his father excelled as engineers—and comprehensive aptitude testing during adolescence that confirmed his strengths in engineering disciplines.
