Mr. Todd has established a distinguished career as an agency owner with Crown Legacy Group LLC, a role he has held since 2011. Over the past three years, he has focused on training insurance and Medicare agents, imparting his expertise in Medicare, marketplace insurance and Obamacare-type insurance. His commitment to mentoring others is evident in his work as a consultant, where he is frequently hired by various agencies to advise on agency setup and operational best practices. He takes particular pride in mentoring and training agents—including his own daughter, whom he considers integral to his succession plan—helping them navigate the complexities of Medicare and empowering them to better serve their clients.

In addition to his leadership at Crown Legacy Group LLC, Mr. Todd has served as regional manager for Call a Doctor Plus since 2019, further expanding his influence within the insurance and healthcare sectors. He and his wife are owners of Mentone Cabins, a business they have operated since 2001, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit across diverse industries.

From 2019 to 2021, Mr. Todd worked as sales coordinator for Combined Insurance, where he honed his skills in team leadership and sales strategy. Prior to this, he was regional sales manager for Liveyon LLC from 2017 to 2019 and president of RegenPath LLC from 2017 to 2018. His entrepreneurial drive led him to co-found TriMed Sources from 2014 to 2017. He owned operated RegenPath a Neurogenx Medical Clinic between 2015 and 2017 helping people deal with neuropathy.

Mr. Todd's experience also includes pharmaceutical sales with DocRx Dispense from 2013 to 2014 and serving as a Medicare resource specialist for both 911 Medicare and Med-I-Fit from 2009 to 2013. In these roles, he developed a reputation for simplifying Medicare's intricacies for clients—a skill that remains central to his professional identity.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Todd was vice president of global markets in 2009 and held executive sales positions with Willmington Financial Branch at AIG from 2006 to 2007, First Horizon National Corporation from 2005 to 2006, First Franklin Financial/Merrill Lynch from 2003 to 2005 and Citi in 2003. He also served as an account executive with Willmington Financial from 2004 to 2008 and Sebring Capital in 2005.

Throughout his career, Mr. Todd has demonstrated exceptional expertise in Medicare and marketplace insurance, earning recognition as an industry leader. He currently serves as Birmingham president of the National Association of Insurance and Business Professionals, reflecting his commitment to advancing professional standards within the field.

Mr. Todd's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in pastoral theology from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama, completed in 1980. This educational background provided him with strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset that have been instrumental throughout his professional journey. After spending 10 years as a pastor following graduation, he transitioned into the insurance industry—motivated by a desire to help individuals navigate the often-confusing landscape of Medicare and marketplace insurance.

Mr. Todd's dedication to ongoing professional development is reflected in several certifications: NABIP Leadership through the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals in 2022; Selling to the C-Suite via LinkedIn in 2019; and the Soaring Eagle Certificate from the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. These credentials underscore his commitment to excellence and leadership within the industry.

Mr. Todd credits much of his success to influential mentors who guided him early in his career, as well as a deep sense of faith that he believes has blessed his life. His passion for helping others is further exemplified by a booklet he created that demystifies Medicare for clients—a testament to his drive to educate and empower those he serves. He is also civically engaged as a volunteer with Grace Klein Ministries, involved with a nonprofit football team known as the Birmingham Cardinals. Mr.Todd also serves on the nonprofit board of At The Kitchen Table.

Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Todd values family life deeply. He and his spouse have a son who served in the United States Navy and a daughter who was a missionary; together they have eight grandchildren. Looking ahead, his foremost goal is ensuring that his daughter gains the confidence needed to eventually lead the agency while continuing his work as a mentor, trainer and consultant. He finds fulfillment in guiding others—both professionally and personally—and takes pride in bridging generational gaps by teaching younger individuals how to leverage technology effectively for business growth.
