NEWARK, DE, October 31, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark Anthony Noll has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Noll has established a distinguished career spanning more than three decades in the medical equipment service industry, marked by a series of progressive roles and entrepreneurial achievements. As founder of Surgi-Call LLC in 2023, he has continued to manage service calls, coordinate refurbishments, order parts, allocate his time and oversee administrative responsibilities. He also collaborates with other contractors to ensure comprehensive support for clients while maintaining a full work week. His expertise in Ziehm brand C-arm medical imaging equipment is widely recognized, reflecting his commitment to technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
Prior to founding Surgi-Call LLC, Mr. Noll served as a service team leader for the North East region at Ziehm Imaging GmbH from 2018 to 2023. In this capacity, he led teams responsible for servicing advanced imaging systems, further developing his leadership and technical skills. For the preceding two years, he worked as a field service engineer at Radon Medical Imaging, where he was responsible for maintaining and repairing complex medical imaging devices.
From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Noll contributed as an installation specialist at STERIS, where he managed the setup and integration of surgical and sterilization equipment in clinical environments. He also held the position of CT/X-ray field service engineer at Philips, Koninklijke Philips N.V. for three years, where he was tasked with ensuring the operational reliability of critical diagnostic imaging systems. His ability to keep CT scanners functional under pressure prevented revenue loss for health care facilities and honed his communication skills through regular interaction with directors and senior personnel. This experience proved pivotal in preparing him for entrepreneurship.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Noll contributed as a field service engineer at Penn Biomedical from 2010 to 2011, where he supported biomedical equipment across various departments. During the preceding nine years, he advanced from biomedical equipment technician I–III to senior biomedical equipment technician and team leader at Christiana Care Health System (now ChristianaCare). Previous positions include Y2K analyst with Independent Consultant Services and chief technician at DaVita, after beginning his career as a surgical technician in the United States Army from 1987 to 1994.
Mr. Noll's educational background includes a diploma from Newark High School in Newark in 1987, before completing medical equipment repair training at the United States Army Medical Equipment and Optical School (now University of Colorado Anschutz, Fitzsimons Building) in 1994. He has continued learning through training to become a certified biomedical equipment technician with the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation and the International Certification Commission and a graduate from Surgical Technician School in 1988. He has furthered his professional standing as a member of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation.
The values instilled by his parents—who immigrated from Germany without support or relatives—have profoundly influenced Mr. Noll's work ethic and determination. He credits their perseverance as foundational to his own success, emphasizing that he approaches every opportunity with gratitude and diligence.
Mr. Noll's entry into the profession followed his military training as a biomedical equipment technician, completed in 1993. After serving in the military, he transitioned into civilian roles focused on dialysis before moving into imaging technology. His experiences at organizations like Philips, Radon and Ziehm Imaging revealed both his passion for medical equipment service and a market need for specialized support in high-end C-arm imaging systems. Recognizing this gap led him to establish Surgi-Call LLC with an emphasis on preventive maintenance, repairs and refurbishments, helping health care providers reduce costs while keeping essential diagnostic tools operational.
Throughout his career, Mr. Noll has faced significant challenges related to manufacturers' reluctance to share proprietary software and service tools necessary for calibrating modern machines, a situation complicated by regulatory barriers involving lobbyists with the Food and Drug Administration. As an advocate for the right-to-repair movement, he works to raise awareness about these obstacles that impact independent service providers like himself.
In his free time, Mr. Noll enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors when not engaged professionally. He is deeply committed to supporting his family, and managing household responsibilities remains a priority alongside his business endeavors.
Looking ahead, Mr. Noll aims to continue delivering exceptional service and savings by ensuring clients' imaging equipment is restored more quickly than traditional manufacturers might allow. He is focused on maintaining this trajectory while considering growth opportunities, such as hiring additional staff or expanding services into new imaging modalities. Motivated by personal commitment to community well-being, he strives to keep critical medical machines running safely and effectively for all who depend on them.
Mr. Noll takes great pride in his family's achievements: his wife is a registered nurse and breast cancer survivor, while their sons are all doing well in their respective fields, one of whom is serving in the military. He acknowledges the challenges faced by military families during periods, such as government shutdowns, when pay may be delayed, but recognizes their resilience through adversity.
