CHAPPAQUA, NY, October 31, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard P. Diefenbach has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Diefenbach has established a distinguished career spanning 40 years, marked by expertise in both broadcasting and teaching. Since 2005, he has been the executive producer of content and principal of RPD Media Associates LLC. In this capacity, he has led numerous media projects that have garnered industry recognition.

Alongside his role with RPD Media Associates, Mr. Diefenbach served as an English language arts and social studies teacher at New Beginnings Family Academy between 2023 and 2025. Despite joining the school at midyear, he exemplified resilience and commitment, set clear expectations and fostered a supportive learning environment for seventh and eighth graders. Encouraged by his success, he continued at the academy to focus on improving literacy among sixth graders, raising their confidence and academic performance over the subsequent two years.

Prior to his tenure at New Beginnings Family Academy, Mr. Diefenbach taught United States history at Scarsdale High School from 2020 to 2021, and from 2017 until 2020, he was a faculty teacher in the English and history department at Bronxville Union Free School District. During this period, he played a pivotal role in guiding students to achieve multiple awards and commendations at Model United Nations competitions hosted by Princeton University and Johns Hopkins University.

Between 2015 and 2017, Mr. Diefenbach taught world and United States history at School of the Holy Child, following his service as an eighth-grade social studies teacher at Robert E. Bell Middle School and at H.C. Crittenden Middle School in 2014. He also worked as a substitute teacher for Byram Hills from 2012 to 2015, gaining valuable experience across various grade levels and subject areas.

Concurrently, from 2013 until 2014, Mr. Diefenbach taught social studies in Rye City School District and was an adjunct professor of communications and media at Pace University between 2011 and 2014, during which time he shared his extensive industry knowledge with undergraduate students. He began his teaching career with student teaching assignments at Valhalla High School in 2012 and at H.C. Crittenden Middle School from 2011 to 2012.

Before becoming an educator, Mr. Diefenbach managed news control room operations for ABC News from 2005 until 2011, overseeing critical broadcast functions during major news events. Previously, he held positions at Fox News Channel as a senior producer between 2000 and 2005 and as an assignments manager from 1997 to 2000. Earlier in his career, he was a news manager and producer for CBS News from 1989 until 1997, and he began his professional journey as a news satellite operations manager for ABC News from 1986 to 1989.

Providing Mr. Diefenbach with both pedagogical expertise and a strong foundation in civic engagement was his academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in politics with a concentration in public law from the Catholic University of America, followed by a Master of Arts in teaching from the University of Southern California in 2012. Supplementing his education are his several professional certifications, including educator certificates for English language arts and social studies for grades seven through 12 in both Connecticut and New York.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Diefenbach attributes his success not only to formal education but also to personal experiences that have shaped his empathy and resilience. He credits faith, prayer and humility as sustaining forces throughout his journey in which he has displayed unwavering idealism — believing that what seems impossible can be achieved by approaching every endeavor with grace, compassion and genuine care for others' outcomes.

Over the course of his pursuits, Mr. Diefenbach has received 18 Big W awards from the Advertising Club of Westchester which included The Bronx River Walk with Dan Rather, and healthcare content for White Plains Hospital, and Westchester Medical Center. He was recently honored with the Presidential Leadership Award from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) for producing the advocacy documentary, Honorable But Broken: EMS in Crisis. His dedication to his community is equally extensive, serving on the board of Partnerships for Change, an NGO with global projects to enhance the lives of underserved communities in India and around the world. In his town, he founded The Great Holiday Train Show, a hugely successful event for families to raise donations for the New Castle Historical Society at the Horace Greeley House in Chappaqua.

Looking ahead, Mr. Diefenbach is committed to continuing purposeful work that positively impacts communities, particularly through storytelling that highlights diverse individuals, historical events and those shaping society for the better. He constantly seeks to be part of solutions when challenges arise, striving to always contribute his best self.
