Ms. Dominici has established herself as a dedicated and accomplished speech-language pathologist, recognized for her expertise in pediatric motor speech disorders such as childhood apraxia and speech, dysarthria, and other speech sound disorders as well as her work with adult stroke patients. A fast-rising figure within her field, she has marked her professional journey with a deep commitment to clinical excellence, leadership and community engagement.

Since 2023, Ms. Dominici has served as the owner and speech-language pathologist at Speech Specialists LLC. She spends her days at the clinic working directly with clients and dedicates off hours and weekends to putting on private sessions. Her practice focuses on individuals seeking early language enrichment and development, speech sound disorders with a particular emphasis on motor speech disorders such as childhood apraxia and dysarthria. Through Speech Specialists, she has created a patient-centered environment that prioritizes individualized care and has become a cornerstone of the Millstone Township community.

In addition to her work at Speech Specialists, Ms. Dominici assumed the role of director of speech and language services at Sovereign Care Services Pediatric Therapy Center, an autism clinic known for its multidisciplinary approach. In this capacity, she leads collaborative efforts with board certified behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians to provide comprehensive care for children on the autism spectrum. Her responsibilities include overseeing therapy programs, mentoring staff and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Prior to founding her own practice, Ms. Dominici built a strong foundation as a speech language pathologist from 2020 to 2024. During this period, she held several roles including speech-language pathologist graduate student and staff supervisor from 2022 to 2024, social media and marketing manager from 2021 to 2024, and social skills group leader from 2021 to 2024. Each to these positions allowed her to develop clinical expertise while also gaining experience in program management, staff supervision, strategic marketing and community outreach.

Before venturing onto her vocational path, Ms. Dominici earned a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University in 2020. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, she took on clinician work in 2020 and gained valuable experience as a student therapist at a variety of practice locations including private practice, public school settings, as well as an aphasia clinic. She began her higher education with a Bachelor of Arts in education from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia in 2017. Though she initially aspired to teach English in a classroom setting, she recognized the limitations of a test-oriented curriculum and pivoted to pursue the more specialized field of speech-language pathology, also filling a crucial need in her area in the process.

Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in New Jersey and Florida, Ms. Dominici holds several additional certifications that expand her qualifications. She is PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) certified and has completed advanced childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) workshop training and dynamic temporal and tactile cueing (DTTC) training through the Once Upon a Time Foundation. Furthermore, she is recognized as a speech-language specialist by the Office of Fiscal Accountability and Compliance at the New Jersey Department of Education and holds a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has extensive training in oro facial myofunctional disorders as well as AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication) and Gestalt Language Processing.

Throughout her career, Ms. Dominici has been recognized for outstanding contributions to her profession, including a proclamation from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy's office for her advocacy during National Childhood Apraxia of Speech Day. Her accolades include being named among Favorite Kids' Docs by New Jersey Family Magazine in both 2024 and 2025, the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Distinguished Early Career Professional Award from the same organization.

Also known for her passion for civic engagement, Ms. Dominici serves as a volunteer advocate during Apraxia Awareness Month, raising awareness about childhood apraxia of speech within her community.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Ms. Dominici has spent most of her life in Millstone Township, NJ except for periods residing in Philadelphia during college and Hoboken after graduation before returning home. Outside of her professional commitments, she cherishes spending quality time with friends and family, visiting the beach, exploring New York City during winter and seeking new adventures with her fiancé, Jordan Assentato.

In the coming years, Ms. Dominici aims to expand her network within the speech-language pathology realm while increasing visibility for Speech Specialists. Teaching remains an important part of her life; she regularly supervises graduate students and clinician fellows completing their clinical hours and recently opened an SLP Mentorship business branched off of Speech Specialists for SLP's looking to learn more about motor speech disorders and how to assess and treat them— an experience that reinforced her commitment to mentorship within the field. Her long-term aspirations include opening additional locations for her practice, hiring like-minded clinicians who share her vision for patient-first care and eventually pursuing doctoral studies.

Ms. Dominici attributes much of her success to an inspiring mentor among her graduate professors who encouraged lifelong learning and innovation in therapy approaches. Driven by a desire to empower children with communication challenges, she continues to seek new tools and strategies that will help give every child a voice — reflecting her personal dedication, compassionate care and a desire to transform lives through all she does.
