With a career spanning more than two decades, Mr. Wheeler has established himself as a distinguished figure in the automotive industry. As the owner and president of Automotive Consultants Group Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, since 1999, he has excelled as a fixed operations director trainer, business management consultant, mentor, writer and speaker. His expertise in automotive repair and business management consulting is widely recognized, and he is a respected member of the Automotive Management Institute and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.

In addition to founding his company, Mr. Wheeler served as a business management consultant and trainer at WORLDPAC from 2012 to 2013. In this role, he provided strategic guidance to automotive businesses and engaged in course development and technical writing initiatives. Before that, he was a technical sales representative for Snap-on Tools from 1997 to 2000, where he earned multiple sales awards for his outstanding performance.

Mr. Wheeler's career began with engineering roles that laid the foundation for his future endeavors. From 1995 to 1997, he was an automotive operations manager at The Yes Group. Earlier, he worked as a mechanical engineer at GE from 1990 to 1993 and as a procurement engineer at Pratt and Whitney from 1986 to 1990.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Wheeler has contributed to education as an adjunct instructor in the automotive technology program at North Georgia Technical College. His commitment to sharing knowledge extends beyond the classroom; he is also the accomplished author of "How To Make Money (and Stay Sane) In the Automotive Service Industry" and has been published 15 times in various industry-related magazines.

Mr. Wheeler's success in the transportation field stems from his educational background. He earned an Associate of Science in mechanical engineering from Georgia Piedmont Technical College in 1986 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business management with a focus on project management at Capella University. To augment his academic knowledge, he is certified as an AMI trainer by the Automotive Management Institute and holds automotive service excellence (ASE) master tech certifications for automobiles and medium and heavy trucks. He is immensely grateful for his father's life lessons and encouragement as well as Marvin Sikes, the owner of Sikes Transportation, who was an important mentor and provided him with the skills and confidence to progress in the industry.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Wheeler is deeply committed to his community and personal interests. He volunteers at the Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where he has been involved since 1995. His passion for bodybuilding has seen him achieve top-three placements in competitions four times over five years. Additionally, he enjoys photography and plans to continue giving back by consulting for a church-operated automotive repair shop that provides vehicles to those in need.

Scott has a very strong love of music and is proud of his 1000+ music library, mostly rock. While he played tenor saxophone in high school, admittedly "he wasn't very good at it". Those skills went to his brother Timothy Wheeler, who is a professor in Atlanta teaching digital music recording.

Looking to the future, Mr. Wheeler envisions completing a long-anticipated race in Nevada while considering retirement options that allow him to continue contributing positively to society. His dedication to helping others remains unwavering as he contemplates new ways to make a meaningful impact during the coming chapters of his life.
