From 2020 to 2023, she served as a project manager at MJM Architects, overseeing architectural projects from conception through to completion, and demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

Ms. Freese's began her career at Archetype Design Group, Inc. in 2014. From 2014 to 2019 she served as a staff architect, contributing to a variety of projects, further developing her technical proficiency and collaborative approach.

Throughout her career, Ms. Freese has been recognized for her expertise in architecture and her dedication to mentorship. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence and adherence to industry standards.

Ms. Freese's academic background includes a master's degree in architecture from the University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design, completed in 2014. Her education provided a strong foundation in architectural theory and practice, equipping her with the skills necessary for success in complex environments, such as healthcare, correctional facilities, retail, and office settings. She also has a minor in German Language Studies and holds a global awareness program certification from the University of Kansas, further enhancing her technical and cultural competencies.

Ms. Freese attributes her success to the mentorship she received from a high school teacher who supported her interest in architecture through independent study. She credits this early encouragement, along with the opportunities and support from those around her, as pivotal factors in her professional growth.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Freese is deeply involved in civic and educational initiatives. She served as a high school mentor for the ACE Mentor Program from 2014 to 2019 and will be a mentor at O'More College of Architecture & Design at Belmont University for the upcoming year. Her volunteer work includes contributions to Habitat for Humanity, serving as a navigator for a Christian ministry, and participating in the Ride for Kids event. In recognition of her dedication to mentorship, she was nominated for Outstanding Mentor of the Year by ACE Mentoring in 2020.

Born in San Diego, Ms. Freese enjoys working on home improvement projects, spending time with friends, traveling, and exploring new cities. She is committed to assuming greater leadership and mentoring responsibilities within her team, supporting young professionals, and fostering innovation in architectural practice.
