GRAND JUNCTION, CO, November 04, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Matthew Kuehlhorn has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Kuehlhorn's professional journey is marked by a commitment to community development, leadership and innovation. Since 2015, he has served as the owner of Kooler Garage Doors, based in Gunnison and Grand Junction, Colorado. In this capacity, Mr. Kuehlhorn is responsible for meeting with his team, conducting daily trainings, working on projects, building company culture, driving leads and results, and handling administrative tasks and marketing. Under his guidance, Kooler Garage Doors has established a reputation for quick response times and trustworthy service, attributes that have helped the company stand out in a competitive market. His efforts were recognized when Kooler Garage Doors was named a finalist for Colorado Companies to Watch in 2025, a distinction that underscores his ability to build strong relationships and lead a caring, well-trained team.

In addition to his work with Kooler Garage Doors, Mr. Kuehlhorn has been engaged in mindset coaching through Deeply Present since 2020. His coaching practice focuses on helping individuals achieve personal growth and resilience, drawing on his extensive background in experiential education and leadership.

Earlier in his career, from 2014 to 2015, Mr. Kuehlhorn was the president of Community Thrive LLC, an initiative he founded to bridge the gap between the cannabis industry and education. Mr. Kuehlhorn's leadership was further demonstrated during his tenure as executive director of the Gunnison County Substance Abuse Prevention Project from 2012 to 2014. He was responsible for marketing, community coalition building and securing funding at a pivotal time when Colorado became one of the first states to legalize cannabis. During this period, he mastered grant writing and successfully obtained over $1 million in funding within two years.

Prior to this appointment, from 2009 to 2012, Mr. Kuehlhorn served as both partner and mentor in Gunnison County, Colorado, focusing on youth and at-risk youth mentoring. He also worked as a case manager for Gunnison Mentors and Gunnison County Independent Living from 2009 to 2012 and from 2009 to 2011, respectively. Additionally, he contributed as an independent contractor for facilitation with Gunnison Area Restorative Practices from 2009 to 2011, where he played a role in restorative justice initiatives. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kuehlhorn was summer program director at The Adaptive Sports Center from 2003 to 2008, overseeing outdoor leadership programs and experiential education for individuals with disabilities.

Mr. Kuehlhorn's professional affiliations include serving as a board member of the Colorado Providers Association since 2015 and membership in the International Door Association. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in recreation, with an emphasis in outdoor education and leadership, from Western State Colorado University, earned in 2001. He also earned several certifications, such as recognition as a certified prevention specialist from the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium and as a substance abuse prevention skills specialist from the Omni-Department of Behavioral Health in 2013.

Mr. Kuehlhorn attributes much of his success to the mentors who have guided him and the intentional relationships he has built throughout his career. His entry into the garage door profession began as an installer, where he learned the trade firsthand. In 2015, after contracting as a house painter and securing his first contract with Kooler, he initially focused on indoor painting before recognizing significant disruptions in the garage door sector in 2021. This prompted him to rebrand and develop a home service model centered around garage doors, with a mission to provide homeowners with caring staff and reliable service options.

Mr. Kuehlhorn's creative endeavors include hosting the "Craft Your Life Radio Show" podcast since 2022 and managing its YouTube channel. He is also the author of "90 Days to Excellence," published in 2012, which reflects his dedication to personal development and excellence.

Looking ahead, Mr. Kuehlhorn plans to expand Kooler Garage Doors by establishing multiple locations to serve various communities and is exploring employee ownership models. He is also focused on growing his brand, Craft Your Life, which offers experiential education through podcasts, a published journal and planned transformational events designed to help individuals live more intentionally.
